now been expunged by The Management. Presumably
the accounts closed as well.

I wouldn`t want to see subscription, easier way is to limit the number of the posts for newly registered accounts.
1 per day for the first 30 days, some private forums operate like that with restrictions in place/

I said few weeks ago they should have ^delete^ function so you don`t see poster at all. That would stop them in an instant.
Anyways, time to move on.

I post on a few threads where I have an interest, but these are becoming unusable due to some posters, posting what amounts to content that breaks UK law.

You as managers of the BB, should accept your responsibility and remove offenders from the bb's as if not you are going to be faced with a lot of time dealing with complaints via other means including law enforcement.

I am posing this to Threads so that all can see and can if they believe that problem is bad enough and it is to copy and paste the compliant, and send to [e-mail]

Sticks: You do not need payment, but you do need action to stop these posters, most are filter but long red lists do not make for a good experience

It would be good if ADVFN changed their ignore system so when you put someone on ignore not only does it not show they've posted but they can't see yours either.Problem is they just keep changing their name which creates a problem for ADVFN however if you could ignore and hide their posts it would just be one click. I already contacted ADVFN last year about this persistent issue and heard back, absolutely nothing, despite mentioning that many of the posters are, IMHO, clearly guilty of an offence under the Communications Act for indecency and/or obscenity.

I'll be doing the same later today and if I don't even get the courtesy of a reply again I'll just lodge a report to the police.

I pay for this site and have done for many years. I will be leaving soon if something isn't done by ADVFN to permanently remove posters like this one. Highly offensive to each other and just fill up the boards with irrelevant chat. The boards are becoming a waste of time. I have look at other sites now for chat between knowledgeable posters and I'm starting to wonder why I am paying money to be here.
