09/4/2024 19:35 | Ha ha. Whilst we all have our losers, we all know that share prices are a moveable feast. It is true, that though I have added to GGP, to make my average more keen, mostly I try to get stocks when they are unloved, usually because of the sector they are in rather than specific to the company. Value is forever changing. I have had a reasonable day today with profits in three of my recent ones....SOLG for example, but it is typical of these shorters to try and pull one out of the bag to denigrate the shareholder. I have not sold any today though. I don't usually bother to reply. This is about GGP, isn't it, not individuals, but just to let everyone know, I have been in this game years....love the research and these silly billies don't worry me one bit and shouldn't you if you believe in what you have researched. Having said that, the stock market is a difficult place, especially now, and any of us can lose on unexpected events. I have read the books, years ago, and it was reassuring to read that extremely few traders have no losers. It is how you do overall that counts. If you keep losing money stop buying and wait for better times. Good luck people and don't let the shorters get you down, or keep away from the bbs! If you feel you have genuinely made a mistake then sell, of course but don't trust anyone on these sites, everyone has their agenda. Some are paid to talk it down. Good luck. | hazl

09/4/2024 10:43 | telbap - good idea to be holding gold. Fantastic 10yr Cup with Handle chart formation - one of the most reliable indicators. Broke through the neck recently; and now on the march - much, much higher. Personally I'm playing the move with silver - PHSP. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship
09/4/2024 10:38 | Copper not to shabby @ $4.30 lb USA ! | wisteria2
09/4/2024 10:08 | @skyship. Have been buying gold for 2 years now, I feel physical gold and silver will be a good security back stop if (small but big!) the current fiat system does fall over. The way the US are going on that feels like a real possibility. All adds to the GGP value here, we will be mining money, quite literally! | telbap
09/4/2024 09:52 | Market Makers keep moving prices up and down for GGP but there is no stoping for GOLD which is now reaching $2358 +19 | master rsi

09/4/2024 08:25 | "If we get good news on the water front, then people will look at the gold price and reason this is way, way too cheap." IF, IF ,IF..... A short but very loaded word. Has anyone picked up any scuttlebutt on that subject of the water? Drone/Sat footage of the surface water reservoirs perhaps. Last I heard there were 3 reservoirs - 2 full; 1 half full. The silence on this is worryingly obvious. SD usually finding a way to report on progress; but not now. Though perhaps of course the reason is corporate activity progressing with Newmont. | skyship
09/4/2024 08:17 | Patience has been key. But hopefully worth it in the end. | hazl

09/4/2024 08:07 | Gold: The Long-Term Trend Is Up, But The Real Opportunity Now Is In Miners Seeking Alpha 8th April 2024 SUMMARY - The recent rally in gold prices is not the result of increased gold ETF flows, contrary to previous rallies. - The new marginal buyers of gold are central banks and retail customers, especially from emerging countries. - Gold has found a renewed role in the world monetary system, offering an important form of reserve diversification to central banks. - Gold could play an even larger role in the emerging multipolar world, as collateral to facilitate transactions outside the SWIFT system. - While a retracement after the recent rally is possible, a strong allocation to physical gold remains prudent. The real opportunity now is, however, in miners... | timberwolf

08/4/2024 22:03 | @masterrsi. Not sure the relevance of the story? In terms of global production this is a real drop in the ocean. In 2023 the global output was 3000 tons. Nice to see a little pinch in supply, but every little helps :) | telbap
08/4/2024 18:17 | Yahoo Finance UK....'Meanwhile, gold prices continued their ascent, hitting fresh all-time highs of $2,350 an ounce in Asian trading hours. The increase was put down to buying by central banks such as the People's Bank of China and de-dolarisation.' | jaka |
