Love It, not true I'm afraid...I can buy easily on TD, but selling more than 500k goes to indicative only.

maybe on ftse 100 stocks. 1.5 was the time to sell....0.98 looks like the next target on the charts without news.

But you are just showing a couple of rare examples of when a stop loss can be costly.
In the stocks I hold it would have saved me tens of thousands. I'm sure overall it's the right policy to use.

ukog today showed why stops are such a bad idea on small caps. Down to 2p this morning and closed loads of punters out at a big loss. Closed at 3.6p......ugh

NUOG.....I bought at 0.46 and they promptly tanked. Even their biggest supporter dumped them. Look at them tonight....1.40p up nearly 5 fold in a week.

Buying small caps...you have to be patient. This is not going broke with 3 million in the bank.

Got to be done I have 2 stocks in my portfolio both 95-99% down. Val 62p to 2p and Kefi over 100p now 4.5p and if I used stops I would have been out of both for 10% loss many moons ago.

True Festario you shouldn't be here if you don't have confidence in this.

In which case Love It, I can answer your earlier question. The share price will move up, and sharply, immediately after they trigger your stop loss. They are visible to the MM's, and when they want cheap shares, they'll take them.I don't use stop losses as I found out how they work, the painful way.

something afoot here, as they keep dropping it when a certain number of buys kick in. Also no TR1's yet so did the placees sell into strength or are they still selling (those held at 1.2p)??? A mystery...

123parv. Wrong... I've not sold any for a while, I've been buying more.. (if you read this thread), .. but it's been a WRONG decision. I'm man enough to admit that.

Fest.

I have a stop in place and it will basically wipe out the profit I made when it spiked up to 1.8p from 1.45p so it's not a disaster for me.

Haha. Funny that. WE actually did research whilst you were chasing other risers. So why exactly have you arrived here after its risen. Oh let me guess, you've bought in at 2p We didn't. Ours were sub-1And mostly around 0.4-0.6

Loveit. Wrong. I'm still invested. I sold some at exactly 2p. But kept the rest and I will be buying them back if it falls further.

Love It, yes it's a falling knife. It will ONLY turn back up IF those mineral reserves are what we hope they are.None of us know if we're honest... yet we bet money it.Crazy really. As I type this, I see we have fallen to a new low.

Or rather that 2.9m to tenbag would end up at 29mill, so only 3 bags from today's price, due to the dilutions.

Love it, it's not a shake, if it is, it's the longest tree shake ever.Sadly, it's something else, it's a false market... and we are no privy to the reasons why.Someone is making money from this, but it's not us.I say it's a false market because the share price drops... 'appears' to be met with heavy buying.... yet it drops again and again. The buys may be incorrectly categorised, or reported at the wrong time, or disguised in some other way. Whichever way you look at it, it's rigged. When I encounter what I suspect is a false market I neither buy or sell. There's a 50/50 chance I'll make a mistake if I do.

Loveit. You fail to Include the TWO large placings since I wrote that posting.. And no I'm not deramping, my posting is very very clearly about newcomers with outlandish price targets. And yes those 10 bags can now be reduced to 5 if you want to play that game. And the market cap was around £2m based on the previous number of shares in issue. As a comparision.

When Beauforts are in place you will see such activity.. nature of the beast!

They will be delighted to have turned out their 12.5mm 0.05p warrants and taken a secondary slice through placings ... presume the spike was initiated there...

It was the spike that brought GWMO to my attention so I guess I fall into the category you are referring to... and other than the released co info and having tried as much research on the Crown Point team as I can... there is little to add..

As explorers the company aren't affiliated with the Nevada Mining association and speaking with NMEC members I cant get information on Huntoon cooperation or the GWMO operation either..

Waiting to see what the money has been used for before I commit any more (or sell)
will be an interesting couple of months

So at 2.9 mil cap you say it's a 10 bagger or £29 mil valuation and now you deramp it at £7.7 mil cap ?
