Yeah, looking at the shares, but just finished building an income portfolio with I3e profits.
However, the shares look good value and it seems, for now, to have stopped tanking.
I have £20k of trading money (none income), currently in PHPD. I'll be out of this trade in 6 months and will take a peek at GTE then.
In truth I like the Canadian assets and once the dust settles I think GTE will move up.

Apparently my broker received the money today for this transaction! It would have been nice to have had a say in the deal but I guess cash in your pocket is not a bad thing in the current circumstances!

My broker is now investigating to see what he can find out. I presume GTE shareholders will also hold some shares in the new entity as well as it is a merger.
I will report back if/when he finds something!

Wood Group Gas Turbine Services Holding Limited will merge with Gas Turbine efficiency Limited with effect from 30th September 2011.
Under the terms of the merger, shareholders will be entitled to receive USD 0.0078 in exchange for each Gas Turbine Efficiency Limited share held. |
