SC,

Yes I think so TMG and a few others going very well and with profits being taken on overvalued and exhausted positions, more funds circulate.

I am feeling pretty defensive this year and therefore rotating into Defensives and Counter Cyclicals.

TK,

MMs work by working the orders against the offer when selling, and against the bid when buying.

Basically a buy by me from them, is a sell from them to me, the books must balance.

Generally they will not hold long or short positions for more than 21 trading days or a month.

So it is easy to tell when mms/brokers want stock trades on bid, when selling trades on offer.

It is entirely predictable NUMS, ABNA, HSBC etc will send analysts to the Full Year presentations with only roughly 14 Lloyd's name stocks to cover.

These FY Results presentations tend to be followed a buy hold or sell recommendation, so if a FY Results was 8th March 2005, how long does it take for a person to update a report on a computer system and have a follow up meeting to update numbers?

A week?

How long to distribute to institutional clients another week?

Timing is everything to beat the city/the street one must get in before they do, or when they do simple.

Normally when mms/brokers are buying prices flat or dropping, when mms/brokers selling prices flat or rising.

Traders are taught to buy rising prices sell dropping prices ie exactly the wrong way round.

Being a fool I buy low sell high.

TK,

Well GS NUMS etc are doing everything possible to discourage buying according to ADVFN Chart which is invariably wrong the Offer up to 45.00p the bid down to 41.00p.

What you can tell is they do not want us Proletariat Hoy Polloy to buy because they want to position themselves.

Every single long is followed up by an mm short to keep spread wide.

Yes Plus Gamma Wave III of C are normally the longest Waves North!

TK,

Why because the NTA is 52.00p, I reckon the NAV is 57.00p, and that the Capital Base of Rosemont Re is US$242m ie US$217m plus US$25m Finance Facility from Barclays/Credit Lyonnais per NUMIS reports on Goshawk Re.

If you can find any other opportunities to buy a NTA 52.00p NAV of I think 57.00p for 44.00p be my guest and please post same.

BTW did you get into TMG up 54.50%?
