14/3/2005 09:44 | TK, Think there is a GOS Board Meeting at moment so you might see some action afterwards I guess. Berg | theberg
14/3/2005 09:34 | TK, Which gaps these tiny little holes in the chart between 44.00p and 45.25p, 52p and 72p, 87p and 105p? | theberg
14/3/2005 09:27 | Morning Bergmeister ;-) Waiting for those gaps to fill. | knowing
14/3/2005 09:18 | TK, Nice Inverted Head and Shoulders on one minute looks like break of 43.85p offer will lead to jump to 44.50p quite rapidly IMO! Berg:-) | theberg

13/3/2005 18:09 | TK, NB Resistance on 432 EMA/SMA has already been broken by 75,000 trade at 44.50p on 10th March 2005. I think next trades are going to fill gap to 45.25p and move us towards the 576 EMA now backtest of 43.00p support complete. Berg:) | theberg

11/3/2005 14:07 | Its such a boring way to make money investing in GOS. There is no stress or strain you just buy the shares and sit and wait. Getting very bored with this investing lark these days, oh well suppose I might aswell go and do something else rather than watch paint turn into gold drying. | smallchange
11/3/2005 13:03 | TK, Mr Mead has a problem, he has £300m to put in an ISA (LOL!) therefore despite secretarial problems of late, and inability to recognise his own signature, I guess he will just get moody and put GOS in the TEMP CREP folder. Me being a Moron, just see that 52p to 70.00p and 83.00p to 105p gap to get filled a tedious profit potential from a tedious defensive stock. I am dull like that. Berg(;-)0 | theberg
11/3/2005 12:41 | Yes was thinking about adding some to my ISA pot as a long term turnaround. Taking your figs into consideration there seems a massive amount of potential upside but I am not sure that the GS calculator has that many digits on it ;-_ | knowing
11/3/2005 12:27 | TK, There is me laughing about Goldman Sachs and you just keep on talking about Xmas trees! Why? 40% increase in GWPI in Jan 2005, increase in rates across the board and as/if increased margins versus a very healthy first half result in 2004 and you are talking about hot air. Did you see Catlin Group Results? Impressive 19.10%! There is money to be made in this dull insurance sector I think and I can see people taking far more defensive positions shortly as the speculative stocks receive profit taking for year end. Afterall it would make sense for me to plonk my trading money into GOS for a month or so buying below value of net tangible assets around UK Tax Year End in a couple of 2004 and 2005 ISA's and sit it out waiting for the gaps to get filled. GOS being FTSE is perfect for an ISA 2004 and 2005 pot IMHO. Dull admittedly but below NTA not exactly rocket science. Berg | theberg
11/3/2005 11:52 | Shut up and close your short YEW YEW ;-) | knowing
11/3/2005 11:31 | TK Well get a friggin' hearing aid then!(;-)0 | theberg
