Appointment of Zap-Map Chairman

Good Energy Group PLC, the 100% renewable electricity supplier and innovative energy services provider ("Good Energy" or "the Company"), today announces that Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Juliet Davenport, has been appointed Chairman of Next Green Car Ltd, the parent company of Zap-Map

The appointment follows the launch of Zap-Pay, a game changing electric Vehicle ("EV") charging payment service that launched on 7(th) September. The new service enables EV drivers to use a single app to pay for charging across different networks and will be rolled out across UK networks in 2021, providing unique and unrivalled coverage across the whole country.

Juliet Davenport is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Good Energy Group plc. She currently sits on the board of the Renewable Energy Association, Innovate UK and is Vice President of the Energy Institute. In addition, she sits on the advisory boards of leading UK think tanks, including Energy Systems Catapult, Aurora, Oxford Energy, and LSE's Grantham Institute.

Good Energy Group PLC exercised its right to increase its equity stake in Zap-Map's parent company, Next Green Car Ltd ("NGCL") to 50.1% in June. The Zap-Map Board now consists of 5 members, including the Co-founders of Zap-Map Melanie Shufflebotham and Ben Lane alongside Good Energy Group PLC Non-Executive Director Tim Jones and Head of Investor Relations and Company Secretarial, Charlie Parry.

Juliet Davenport, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Good Energy, said:
