25/9/2015 17:37 | News probably Monday then; certainly by Weds 31st.Good chance of a positive update and with market cap at the ask of around £1,65M any sniff of a JV ..well people will be looking at this company with a 600k jorc and wondering how the hell the market overlooked it.all imo. | kingivor
25/9/2015 09:17 | It'll be interesting to find out what they've been up to within the last 6 months.. | htrocka2
25/9/2015 08:40 | With this low market cap if it is good news this could have quite a spike. | goldendigger
24/9/2015 15:37 | Gold spiking up with news imminent. | kingivor
16/9/2015 20:17 | Nice find Shavian... 'Randgold and AngloGold Ashanti will form a new joint venture company.' AngloGold Ashanti Ltd -with 11.49 %....The largest shareholder in Stratex....and Stratex the largest shareholder in GoldStone Resources...... The jig saw pieces are coming together. 'Randgold chief executive Mark Bristow said "Obuasi is a world-class resource. We now have to see if we can convert it into a world-class mine. We have a long history of cooperation with AngloGold Ashanti and we look forward to working with them again on charting a new course towards a viable future for Obuasi." 'ANGLO GOLD ceased mining operations in the Homase License area during 2003 at a time when the gold price fluctuated between US$320 and US$380 per ounce and at a reported operating cost of US$220 and $280 per ounce'. 16/9/2015 19:07 | Hey! Heads-up to Randgold. Announced a jv with Anglo to revive Obuasi. Right next door to GRL. Synergy? | shavian
16/9/2015 10:22 | Wonder where the MC would be here with gold sat at $1300+? £12-15 M easy in my opinion ..ie.8 x current valuation a lot of money is on the side waiting for gold to kick-off | kingivor
15/9/2015 16:33 | STI up another 6%.....it's all looking good. | htrocka2
15/9/2015 14:52 | Some people are starting to take a few. Can sell a healthy number - bodes well for a decent rise on news which I am informed is this month. dyor a few years old now but well worth a watch .. | kingivor
15/9/2015 12:28 | Possible JV partners for our oxide resource. | kingivor
15/9/2015 11:33 | Not many junior explorers ever make it to production like stratex are at the brink of doing, especially in this dire market. Many have gone to the wall and many more are heading that way. Soon STI will have cash flow which can be used here or they can attract JV partner like they do with stratex. | goldendigger
15/9/2015 07:39 | STI have gone up nearly 100% over the last seven months....not total bafoons. I hope GRL can emulate them. | htrocka2
15/9/2015 00:53 | STI are buffoons who can hardly run STI properly | the stigologist
15/9/2015 00:40 | True about AngloGold. Not looking at multi million oz resources here but Stratex took a good look at a load of projects but chose goldstone as the best investment so they must believe they can increase the resource and have a good track record of monetising their investments. | goldendigger
14/9/2015 20:40 | ....and Stratex's largest shareholder is AngloGold Ashanti, with 11.49%, who operate the adjacent Licence to Goldstone. | htrocka2
14/9/2015 14:29 | Worth a punt here I think. I think news is not too far away. With such a low market cap/low number of shares in issue and Stratex on board with good drilling results this will fly. | goldendigger
13/9/2015 12:42 | I noticed that Obusai is still in 'refurb mode'... yet still producing 14,000 ozs (and that's next door to Homase) | htrocka2
12/9/2015 11:04 | Page 25:.Q2 AngloGoldAshanti presentation "Evaluated potential benefit of the development strike extensions" | kingivor
11/9/2015 20:59 | This lot are going to open up OBUSAI in January, they've abandoned deep shaft mining and are to concentrate on open pit mining... hopefully with GRL. | htrocka2
10/9/2015 15:13 | I very much doubt that STI will walk away from this project. Bob Foster is still singing its praises and contact with the company is encouraging. Unless they are reckless with the cash at hand I can see a good bit of upside at this price. | kingivor
10/9/2015 13:33 | With STI up 22.5% as I write, my bet is that they'll get an uplift of some form from the main company prior to the warrant expiry date of March 31st 2016. The 20.8m 7p exercise price looks ambitious, however, a bit of good news, ie, J/V announcement, application for a mining Licence for Homase/Akrokerri and further upgrade in the JORC, with a current market cap of £1.56...it's still possible. (remembering that STI pumped in £1.25 cash not long ago) and that the directors received 10m shares at 0.66p in lieu of salary this time last year that, as yet, have not been cashed. In short, all positive as I see it. The 'bunching MDA's indicates a critical period being approached. (these are usually favourable...especia ps.. a bit of good news before the Interims is required | htrocka2
10/9/2015 11:56 | htr, Nomad confirms interims due by end September. Decent asset here but stymied by the gold price hence the drive to add oxide resources on our tenements and perhaps in collaberative JV with neighbours. Chris Hall alluded to a critical mass of oxide gold in region of 250k required for economical processing - presumably capex requirements or truck in to Obuasi Company has reasonable cash at £1m+ and has options. Even 3p is sub £2m Market Cap. All to play for here and news of a deal should arrive before interims are out. Sti very tight-lipped on grl so expecting news. | kingivor
10/9/2015 11:15 | a good day for STI.. up 18.3% as I write. Bodes well for GRL. | htrocka2 |
