alex- I never spread bet either use full service broker for t-10 or GNI for CFD's. You get short interst on CFD's (if you are short of course)

matthewa - tend you use bets for any expected to be long term ( months ), and CFD's for shorter. CFD better spread and bets no tax

Since June it hasn't stayed level for longer than a week without dropping again.

485p next stop?

beckaroo - plenty of scope for cheaper buying yet I think. I see no support till around 485p. Thats another 117p below today's close and perfectly feasible. (It's dropped a similar amount from 720 on July 1 in a relentless slide). I would want to see a clear recovery from 485p before buying again.

It's already down a third (300p) from its June peak.

Cheers for the info. I might hold off the buying for now unless a significant rally is developed in the next week. I am sure there will be enough chances to buy stocks on the cheap in the next few months.

I'm short.

Tipped in Sunday Times. Will be watching closely Mon morning. There's a danger of a mark up I know. They are sitting UNDER support and a drop of a pound looked on, but that's charts for you. Still in a downtrend with plenty of work to do to convince any chartists to buy, but a short term rally is poss.

Take care.

Looks from the RNS announcement today like the '?' trades were buys as Schroders have increased their holding from under 10% to 11.57%. This after they have been reducing their holdine over the past few months. Seems to suggest that Schroders think that a bottom has been reached and expect to see a slow upward trend forming now like the slow downward spiral we have seen after the results. Think I will buy in after a few days of rising prices, as this is a growth stock.
