13/8/2001 14:34 | I used to hold this one back in 1998/99 and did OK with it at the time. It has trended downwards ever since peaking in mid-2000 though, despite a rise in its sector. Down 250p so far. Been sliding quite relentlessly over the past 9 weeks. Any guesses as to why? Some negative announcement imminent? | m.t.glass
13/8/2001 14:23 | Did you buy? You'd have done well in the 3 months that followed, Fidget. But despite some useful trading swings along the way the trend has been downward ever since mid-2000, while its sector has risen. I am curious about what's behind the relentless downward slide of the past 9 weeks in particular. Some negative news imminent? Somebody knows something we don't (yet)? | m.t.glass
17/8/1999 13:30 | Does anyone know about Goldshield Group ? They are a pharmaceutical company floated in June last year. The stock price has risen steadily and now stands at 506p, more than double the flotation price. Dividend this year is up 15% and profit up 40% on last year. They bought 10 product licences from SmithKline a month ago (data courtesy of Sharepages.com). They look very interesting. Does anyone have more info ? | fidget |
