Still trading around 22% discount to NAV.

Although gold has slipped around $10 tonight in the USA, already people have lined up on CNBC saying that gold is set to go sharply higher.

Theory now is we are into the Sept/Oct bad season for stocks, and a Sept rate hike is being priced in. It won't happen of course, but the only sector that will see a sharp rise in price is gold and gold stocks. The stock markets in general are headed for a correction of between 7-10%.

Not my words, but those of David Tice, Tice Capital, and some others.

We could either find gold starts moving up again Monday morning, or the expected fall in the share price here is a mere penny or two before another move back over 50p.

23.25% discount to NAV. Price drift suggests market expecting miners to fall.

$gold price has reached the triangle apex I mentioned last week. Will be interesting to see if it turns. It's co-inciding with upper trendline [red] which has historically proved strong resistance...

If you are looking at these over a 3 year view, it's always good to be able to accumulate £1's for 80p at a time.

Take a 3 year view chaps. Not specifically a trading stock in my view.

By 2020 - $3000 gold and GPM £5.

you can buy 35k at 45.6 at the moment which suggests they have a few to get rid of but that can change very quickly.

For a trade it looks tempting with gold trying to break 1330 but I do think we have a seller at the moment. Someone has been dumping 50Ks

Just sold the last of mine for now.
Had to place order, which I thought odd.

Bamboo can you really chart with this as it's entirely pegged to gold and secondary stock performance ?

I was looking for 40p however after the non farm pay roll figures were published and at the time GPm was still nigh on flat on the day I increased my holding. This was in the anticipation that the chat about US interest rate increase would be cooled and thus helping gold.

We will see.

I've sold down all my pms for time being, except JLP, which is a particular story around platinum. I don't don't doubt that PP will be proven right in the longer term, and I continue to think that GPM will be an optimal way of riding that. Will continue to look in.
