10/8/2016 17:47 | Even after today's rise we are on a 20% NAV discount vs a 12 month average of 14%. Professor Pettigrew - I'm hoping you were just two months out in your massive rise hope! Cheers all | brugen

10/8/2016 12:50 | If it closed gap to NAV which you'd expect , then 60p short term.... | highly geared
10/8/2016 11:38 | A big white candle in the chart. Look what happened when we had candles like that in the chart earlier in the year. | dogberry202000
10/8/2016 11:21 | Is this the break out above 51p? The volume suggests that it looks like it. | dogberry202000
10/8/2016 07:31 | With gold/ silver up strongly I'd expect miners to perform well today and NAV to move through 60p. Shares remain too cheap and I'd enviasge 50-52p close. | highly geared
10/8/2016 07:13 | brugen - good morning to you. Just a hope actually, but this morning gold is up $12 so looks a tad forlorn! Not a holder here but watching with interest, and GL to all holders. | professor pettigrew
09/8/2016 12:17 | if the chart in the link below stands, the direction of travel may well be just so. A falling pound also helps GPM. The pound has fallen again under $1.30 and may not get back over this level for a long time. The pound could fall rapidly from this point for the remainder of the Summer and into the Autumn. hxxp://www.gold-eagl | dogberry202000
08/8/2016 22:15 | Need gold to drift to $1300 and this to around 35p by end September. Then there will be a massive move upwards in both. Is that a hope or do you have any evidence to support that will happen? | brugen
08/8/2016 21:47 | Need gold to drift to $1300 and this to around 35p by end September. Then there will be a massive move upwards in both. | professor pettigrew
08/8/2016 19:56 | Over 25% NAV discount; too cheap, should be 50p. | highly geared

03/8/2016 10:14 | Utilico -now UIL UTL.L is on a staggering 50% + discount to NAV with 30% ish exposed to Gold Mining -useful if you are worried about a crash- | davebowler
02/8/2016 20:24 | Free had good results today. | dilbert dogbreadth
02/8/2016 17:42 | Golds rise is more often than not Dollar weakness. It's pretty much the inverse of USDJPY and that does find its way onto the NAV because it's holding shares in TSX and ASX miners which are impacted. This fund also recently increased its exposure to Silver to 40% which is a very smart move so it's not all about the Gold price here, and definitely not all about the Stirling Gold price. | anthony16731
02/8/2016 16:43 | 56.87 nav yesterday. No doubt higher today, so hopefully more movement tomorrow.. 90p by late September would be fine. ;) | brucie5
02/8/2016 16:20 | A lot of the move in the gold price today is simply dollar weakness. In sterling POG hasn't moved much, and in the end GPM's shares are in sterling. | mad foetus |
