01/11/2011 16:37 | Nav held up well due to the cash the company has just raised and yet to be fully invested. | ![]() mozy123
01/11/2011 10:56 | Thanks Mozy for the prompt reply. All the best, John | ![]() 2350220
01/11/2011 09:56 | 235, they are options to buy ord shares at 130p in the future all the way up too 2014. HL will have sent you a letter in ur online inbox that explains it. they trade separately so have a value. I personally think that gold miners are hugely undervalued so looking forward to buying £3 shares at £1.30, IMO so are keeping them held tight. | ![]() mozy123
31/10/2011 16:21 | They appear on the ADVFN monitor under ticker GPMS | flips
31/10/2011 15:47 | Sub shares have just been credited to my account with Sippdeal but not yet available to trade (or showing a price). Quote and level 2 available on advfn (GPMS 13.5-18) and showing a sale of 10k. I think the fall in ords today can be attributed to early sells and the general market fall. | ![]() alanji

31/10/2011 15:35 | flips, have you had your shares credited to your account? I cant find anything under gpms Can you link me to a chart of them? Or a website with them on? | ![]() mozy123
31/10/2011 15:20 | M123. Now we know. the subscription shares are valued at 15.75p mid, which presumablhy accounts for the 4.75p fall in the ordinary shares. So holders have made a modest profit today. | flips
31/10/2011 14:19 | Anyone had there bonus shares credited yet? | ![]() mozy123
28/10/2011 12:11 | On Monday, what value are these going to trade at? They are basically worthless unless the ords are over 130p? Or will people want them because 130p by 2014 is alsmot guarenteed? | ![]() mozy123
28/10/2011 11:44 | Subs are due to be listed from Monday (GPMS) and are a separate share so are traded independently from the ords. | ![]() alanji
28/10/2011 10:51 | A quick query regarding the bonus subscription shares. Will these have their own listing? And do the rights to these shares stay with the shareholders from the record date? i.e. in the intervening period before maturity if you sold the share would you retain your rights to subsribe to the bonus subscription share? | marky4
20/10/2011 14:13 | i didn't fully understand why the management of gpm decided on a bonus issue, and worried I could be missing out on potentially negative implications, so sold my last few k recently at breakeven. now they are fiddling with price! i also didn't like the co. buyback news earlier this year. too many wheels within wheels! it all seems quite far away from the original reason i invested in gpm, which was to access a fund of pm miners. | ![]() bamboo2
20/10/2011 13:34 | flips, think of them as a free 'leveraged' investment on top of the GPM share price, that can increase by hundreds of percent if they expire in the money. Have a look at the GCLS thread from last year - subscription shares for Geiger Counter; another ncim trust. | ![]() jimbo55
20/10/2011 13:29 | Mozy -thanks. But if the price is - as now - 112p, why not buy in the market and hope for the price to increase? What advantage does the option route have? | flips
20/10/2011 12:48 | Flips, they are basically options. You get shares at 130p even if in 2 years time the stock is trading at £5 the bonus issue will also trade and value will be determined if they will get in the money or be out of it. Make sense? | ![]() mozy123
20/10/2011 11:26 | Can anyone clarify the 'bonus issue of subscription shares' for me? How can they be a 'bonus' yet cost 130p a bash? Any comments welcomed. | flips
07/10/2011 13:01 | Arbuthnot say this is at a premium at the moment, with NAV of 1.02 30 Sept. I think CYN is beter value at a discount of 18%! | ![]() davebowler
21/9/2011 01:12 | NAV has a good chance of increasing if the gold miners start to close the gap with the gold price. "We believe that the current weakness in gold shares is a temporary phenomenon and it will be a matter of time before a better balance is restored." | ![]() protean
20/9/2011 14:55 | this will trade out to a discount at some stage, I imagine. I have lightened up and increased exposure to gdx gdxj. Still one of my major holdings BTW One can spreadbet gdx and gdxj with IG index. | ![]() wolstencroft
20/9/2011 14:07 | I suspect the bonus options/subscription shares are what are driving this discount narrowing. Worth keeping an eye on the HUI with this one though, if you want an indication of which direction the NAV is going to be heading. | ![]() jimbo55
20/9/2011 11:54 | Very much in demand, now trading at a premium to NAV. I would normally sell this now, but dont wanna lose the bonus options if i cant get back in. the lastest announcement has changed the game with this one. No longer an easy trading/money maker. | ![]() mozy123 |
