29/4/2013 11:55 | tg, remember a few years back the government removed incentives on capital gains tax, the longer you were in a share the less cgt you paid, the only people who have been burned here are the long term holders, todays share price is living proof. the only reason I am still here is because I am sitting on massive losses, I refuse to average down, I have averaged down in the past and am even more out of pocket had I not bothered. its about time gold oil did something right, anything. ffs this company has had some right clowns at the helm. more fool me. 81. | charlie81
29/4/2013 11:46 | CS Sandy soil Is very good for carrots, fella down my allotment actually adds sand to his soil depending on what he is growing, try and get yourself a load of horse manure to enrich your land..i get that and seaweed dumped down my place...there is no reason you shouldnt be able to grow what you want...a shallow trench mate depending on what you are planting, i dont go deeper then half each for most stuff | benjamin15
29/4/2013 11:38 | Goodness me, how much longer are they going to fanny around with the share price It's due a decent breakout just on fundamentals. | cockney sparrow
29/4/2013 11:32 | Yes Ben, I'm going to have a go with what you suggested at the weekend. Dig a trench chuck in the seeds water and walk away. The soil here is very sandy but the fella that used to own the house used to be able to grow just about everything. At one point he went a bit mad and tried creating a banana plantation. Luckily that didn't work out and we only have one banana plant left. You could say he went bananas :) | cockney sparrow
