News is getting closer. Sp lifting slowly.

Next week is still my prediction, i don't see how they can hold the results back any longer.

I know they were 7th June last yeat, but that is no yard-stick.

The new bod will want to be clean and efficient with their reporting in my view.

Especially given their statement on nbm reporting etc

The only real asset GOO has is Z34 and they haven't managed to get a partner for that in the last 10 years. Why? The reason is that Z34 is in deep water and further exploration would be too expensive and risky.Nobody wants to take the risk. The share price will drop to the 0.75p placing level.278m shares are a millstone.(A post as you requested Vertias on the LGO thread.....a share worth buying)

yes but Goo is at 1.7p with the same assets as last year but with 100% of NBM and possibly a deal in the offing for Rosa Blanca, so you could say the portfolio is in better shape now.

Take time to build confidence but fingers crossed this time they have the right team?.

Yes graham, I was feeling a bit negative about it all last night. If we got a Z34 partner, especially with a decent cash lump, then it would restore a lot of confidence. Hopefully we would get enough investors to more than replace those jumping ship.

When looking at where we got to last year, don't forget that we've had 25% dilution since then.

Grahambr,

I have said before that I believe this is very much an option and I reckon it's on the list of plans!

Although it might not be the top idea it will more than likely feature pretty close to it!

One things for sure You don't rescue or enter a company without an exit plan and I do wonder if this is part of it.

BUT, there are different exits available I hope.

All IMO of course.

I don't think the story has ended just yet.
I seriously believe that a takeover (buyout) will occur in the near future.
We will get a return on our investment but the real spoils will go to the buyers.

IMHO

Where there's big cash there are big boys.

Yea exactly Pembury has imo got it right.

Yes, I'm fraccing annoyed that it has taken so long but I'm fraccing pleased that RB puts up the cash. I'm also fraccing happy that the last bell was not rung on a firm that has huge potential.

think rb invested closer to 30 k of his own money, peanuts to a man who has held lofty positions in oil companies for many years. 81.

If they announced a decent farmin deal as a long term investor i would buy some more above these levels, lets not forget the same scenario last year would have possibly seen new buyers over 10p. If it had a cash element in it that could really help Goo develop other projects especially NBM which is lower risk with good potential and the company now hold 100%. Personally think the extension is also significant news as was taking the 100% stake (and that only got a few lines in the RNS!). Hopefully RB is all out focused on turning Goo around having just put in nearly 300K of his money into the company. Same assets + 42% more of NBM but hopefully a trustworthy bod!.

Yes. We have been down at 1.5p for a long time, so anyone buying at that price will be 100% up at 3p and will likely take profits. That's why we need a build up on Z34 and not just a straight announcement of a farmin. We need to encourage new investors with a rising price which will give us a firm and higher base.

I would imagine that if farmin news of Z34 was released tomorrow, we would be back at 1.5 p within a day or two.
