I grow loads of garlic, onions, lettuce, shallots, spuds, beetroot, carrots, french beans, chillies, lettuce, chard, spinach,broad beans kale, kohl rabi, courgettes 250 sqm, enough to feed me and the wife and loads left over for people..I know what you mean about the late frosts, well behind this year..

An1mal, my frustration is that I can't get anything to grow if my hands are the ones planting the seeds or plants into the soil. Even our house plants die.

Ah now CS - now you're showing off with your fancy climate an' all that - figs! I don't bother with normal onions, carrots or spuds 'cos they're cheap and I can't get on with them - potatoes especially are like weeds - once planted there's no going back! Should imagine it's the same with garlic where you are - let someone else grow it!

An1mal is that what you are growing? sounds great. Here's what I have been growing rocket, onions, garlic. (All failed) Here's what is growing but I have not been involved in the planting cherries, asparagus, plum, fig.

Vegetables - beetroot, baby carrots, radish, red salad onions, baby turnip, dwarf french beans, pick and come again salad (mixed), french and italian salad leaves, tomatoes, peas, hot peppers, sweet peppers, squash. Daren't bring the beans out of the greenhouse yet - had a light frost last night!
