Interesting post, thanks for sharing. While, personally speaking I don't really get the appeal of cruise ships it was popular and it looks like it will be again.

maybe not. if you look at the chart you can see that it could go a lot higher yet if things get anywhere back to normal.

Post seems to have not fully displayed - so here is another attempt-Doesn't look like I'll get my sub-100p does it ? (Rhetorical Question). Indeed looks like recovery is starting to be anticipated ....

Clear Signs of recovery here. Quarterly reporting should provide momentum as the recovery continues. I bought this a few months ago at 120p as a recovery stock without much info really. There is a humungous amount of debt and i don’t really have much of a handle on the financials but it seems to have survived the shock, rescheduled the debt and is making progress so i’ll stick around.

I thought I was alone. I don't think it's that bad, covid is just something that we'll have to live with.

And... looks like a deal is done. Not much details, but looks like 100% of remaining bonds will be refinanced.A year ago this was priced for bankruptcy... now do we sell out on the news, or hold for the Caribbean growth coming in the next 1-2 years...

Thanks for that. The bond price operates as the canary in the cage . I haven't really studied this one very much. Just thought it might fly if /when cruising starts. I suppose the shareholders could get a further shafting at the hands of the bondholders as part of their manouvres to get something out of the situation?
I just see things improvibg and their port assets being valuable.

GPH bonds now trading at 88. Considering the auction price came in at 899/1000 market thinks the remaining $200m of debt will be refinanced at similar or better prices. Enterprise value of the equity looks pretty good here, compared to other leisure names they haven't had significant dilution, have very flex operating costs and should power back when passengers get on the board

Yes an interest couple of days here. Yesterday's announcement noted they had received support from note holders who had voted on the scheme. So guessing these ones add up to approx the 75m on the new offer. So pay the cash, cancel those ones and then deal with the remaining notes between now and November.

I bought in yesterday on the back of the refinancing scheme being approved so was a bit concerned when it was withdrawn.
I feel like I have dodged a bullet!
Should be plenty of upside here if things go anywhere near back to normal.
