22/9/2021 13:32 | Astonishing ignorance from everyone re Monecor. Monecor is NOT an institutional investor. They provide spread bets to investors - and their position in the underlying shares is a hedge of the net long position of their clients in aggregate. So there won't be any "dumping" and nor is it likely there will be a material exit at any point as their client positions were opened in the placings. | emptyend
22/9/2021 12:43 | Have you read the RNS | martin3042
22/9/2021 12:02 | As mentioned before Afzal Alli completely wrong when stating Monecor cleared their holding which was pure guesswork and can now see this dropping below the placing price of .50 | oliversydney
22/9/2021 11:10 | Monecor have millions to dump | jaforsadi
22/9/2021 07:41 | Been researching this since initial toe dip last weekThe market cap here is hilariousI'll be topping up today | romeoandjuliet
17/9/2021 12:28 | In, picked up my first tranche, may get a few more. News flow should start from the majors. | brut winky
17/9/2021 10:59 | Tempted to buy not sure | jaforsadi
17/9/2021 09:51 | Every chance of a good result, but entirely contingent on getting a good farmout in Nambia or a bid for the company. Could easily hit 2p or so in those circumstances. Firm oil prices and exploration interest in Namibia over next 12 months support this. | emptyend
17/9/2021 08:22 | I am new to GBPlooks a compelling multibagAny comments from LTHs? | romeoandjuliet
16/9/2021 10:43 | No reason to assume that. Monecor's reported position is the aggregate of their underlying spreadbet clients. | emptyend
14/9/2021 19:50 | 16:15 today 10 million sale @ 0.52p, I assume that's Monecor selling, an RNS confirming Monecor's shareholding hopefully not too far away. | investoroilandgas
13/9/2021 22:57 | We'll see.A trade of 14 million GBP shares has never happened before, as far as I know....https://twit | emptyend
13/9/2021 20:30 | Yes it appears Afzal Valli has got it wrong when he said Monecor were nearly out and as mentioned before there would have been a RBS by now if they had reduced their holding | oliversydney
13/9/2021 19:35 | 16:43 today 2,500,000 sales @ 0.52p x 2, looks like Monecor are still selling. | investoroilandgas
08/9/2021 18:35 | I have been pondering having one last GBP top up, I managed to buy a few for my SIPP last week @ 0.5099p. I was hoping GBP would drop back to that level this week, if Monecor have now cleared, that fall back is not looking likely. Q4 2021 Namibian offshore drilling scheduled, so hopefully plenty of buying opportunities still to come. | investoroilandgas
08/9/2021 18:02 | Worth noting that Afzal Valli thinks Monecor are nearly done too....https://twitt | emptyend
08/9/2021 17:35 | ....so since Monacor declared 111mn shares on 19/8, some 420mn shares (about half the total shares out) have traded. With volumes at these levels, the shareholding position can change quickly.... | emptyend
08/9/2021 17:27 | Two large sell trades went through this afternoon at 15.32, I assume the seller is Monecor. For every seller there is of course a buyer so it will be interesting to see a RNS in the coming days / week which confirms Monecor's shareholding and whether we have a buyer which has acquired 3% + of GBP shares. | investoroilandgas
07/9/2021 17:29 | The two largest trades of the day (4.5mn and 2mn) were also the two highest-price trades of the day....both 0.56p or more. Seems to me the shares are moving towards fewer but larger holders... | emptyend
07/9/2021 14:53 | No your not raytard everything you buy goes to a zero | manc10
07/9/2021 14:46 | Well I’m interested in the two drills in the offshore Namibia south through other holdings I have through aoi. We shall see, there seem to be far higher hopes down there. | rayrac
05/9/2021 20:17 | I have no interest (financial or otherwise) in ReconAfrica so I'm surprised to read a reference to "sour grapes at the moment", I was merely pointing out that ReconAfrica drilled Onshore Namibia and did not bring oil to the surface. That's clearly a disappointment to the company and its shareholders. Q4 2021 now sees the focus shift in Namibia to Total & Shell drilling offshore, ultimately the drill bit will do the talking. GLA | investoroilandgas
05/9/2021 17:47 | I don’t think, to be absolutely correct, that they have tried to produce oil. Just investigating the oil bearing strata. They are not seeking to produce oil from those 2 drills, they don’t have production equipment on those sites in which to contain it. I’d like to know where you get your interpretation of their trying to bring oil to surface? I’ve never seen mention of it. You may be right eventually, but it sounds like sour grapes at the moment. | rayrac
05/9/2021 17:26 | "April 15, 2021 – Windhoek, Namibia and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada – Ministry of Mines and Energy (“MME”) and Reconnaissance Energy Africa Ltd. (the “Company” “ReconAfrica announce preliminary analysis of the data from the 6-2 well, the first of a three well drilling program, provides clear evidence of a working conventional petroleum system in the Kavango Basin". ReconAfrica Press Release April 15 2021. Has ReconAfrica brought oil to the surface in Namibia since April 15 2021? | investoroilandgas |
