I have held GBP for the last decade, I don't think that I have ever seen it at the top of the LSE Top Risers table.
Awaiting Total's announcement on drill date for Namibian Block 2913B.

To be clear, I would also like to see a deal being done.
Having averaged down during the recent share price fall, my strategy is to offload some of holdings during the next month. September 2018 saw the share price hit 4.05p, lets see where the share price gets to next month.
Shell still to announce the timing of its Namibian offshore drills, interesting times ahead.

I'm not too interested in "run-ups".....what I'd like to see this time is a deal. Regional drilling activity is a good catalyst for this - especially if it is successful and/or validates GBP's geological model.

We witnessed a run up in the GBP share price in September 2018 when Pancontinental drilled an offshore well, I'm hopeful that we will see a run up with Total's offshore drill next month.

Actually it was a buy as the best bid price was 50.5 at that time
I should know as I spoke to my broker at that time and .525 was the offer price

Some pumpers on twitter are so manipulative they lose the date on that 6.5m sellThen claim someone bought just to pump it

Was actually over the offer at .525 just after the close which at 34 thousand pounds is a decent buy so hopefully news coming very soon and maybe some sold too early today

"Rockhopper continues to believe it has strong prospects of recovering very significant monetary damages - on the basis of lost profits - as a result of the Republic of Italy's breaches of the Energy Charter Treaty. All of Rockhopper's costs associated with the arbitration to date have been funded on a non-recourse ("no win - no fee") basis from a specialist arbitration funder". RKH RNS 3 August 2021

Rockhopper will hopefully set a precedent which will allow GBP to reclaim the costs of its four PEL applications plus the environmental tribunals which it had to attend.

The operator of South African oil field 3B/4B, Africa Oil (20%), is impatiently awaiting the drilling of the Namibian Venus prospect (oil field 2913B) that TotalEnergies (ex-Total) and Qatar Petroleum (QP) are due to carry out in September. [...] (220 words)
