Quite so. It won't go up until either there is news or people think there will be news.....and then it won't be buyable in any volume. It is simply a question of what the company is worth.Quite a nice candidate for a RTO for a private company?

Just on the question of value, the data in the company has cost a multiple of the market cap to acquire. Whether it is worth what has been paid, we will discover.....but, by any measure, the current market cap is not expensive given the potential.

Might get quite interesting quite soon here. Not because of anything happening directly, but because of the Recon well onshore that should TD by the end of March (per their latest release). This means it will be entering the zone of interest sometime in the next ten days....possibly very soon indeed.They also have a bunch of warrants expiring on Thursday....so it is a pretty binary bet for holders of those.Meanwhile, at GBP, it remains the case that the whole company could be bought cheaply - and that is still the most likely outcome in my mind. If there is a sniff of oil onshore, that could happen pretty rapidly, I suspect, given that there has been an opportunity to crawl over the data room already....
