01/5/2016 20:50 | Here is my futile little pennies worth ?, Qatar buying or selling seems to have little impact on the price, unless they unload the lot I guess ?, or buy a shed load more. What I cannot understand is why all the big miners keep digging industrial sized quantities of metals out of the ground when there is little demand for them ?????. Why dont they start cutting back, thus driving the price higher for what there is, Supply and demand thing, I mean if a simpleton like me can think of that why not them ?, perhaps I,m missing something here ?, usually am when it comes to this business. | dremel

28/4/2016 17:40 | KEIFER DERRIN........this is the way I answer BB questions so at least I have your attention. How long have you been dealing on the LSE as it seems to me that you are a novice and have much to learn? Fangorn2 is an experienced dealer and poster on this BB so follow him and not me as I am a reader rather than a poster but a big shareholder in GLEN because my son is a City metals and minerals dealer and that is how we make our living......dealing in GLEN, S32, RIO and BLT plus the physicals such as gold and silver. I am only trying to help you as there is much to know and we all make mistakes from time to time. | anley

28/4/2016 10:42 | NOT SURE WHY YOU NEED TO SHOUT MY NAME......but the official RNS which I read, says Qatar now hold 1,307 587 099. according to the link I added it said they held 1, 176 196 974 - which to me means they have added.... so is the information in the link wrong...so why is it a sell... | keifer derrin

21/4/2016 11:05 | ireminisces I think Glencore own 50% plus one share of the project. Zanaga own the other 50% less one share. It is possible Glencore would be happy to sell their share as may have been mooted by Ivan Glasenberg in the past and recent share price movements in Zanaga's share price seem to suggest something other than an iron ore price move may be occurring. However I cannot see anything to suggest they have sold their share recently. So in answer to your question yes I believe they do have a stake in the Zanaga Iron Project. Hope this helps. | demicauk |
