Positive approach by the EMA:

The European health regulator is reviewing a Covid-19 vaccine being developed by Pfizer and BioNTech in real-time. The move came days after launching a similar assessment process for AstraZeneca’s vaccine.
The European Medicines Agency said it was evaluating the first batch of data on the vaccine, and would continue to do so until enough data is available for a final decision.

ACTION; Since it was announced, the split has been seen by the market as favourable.

GSK share price down after profit warning (in February) due to R&D spending. ... the company stated in its full-year results at that time that profits will suffer in 2020 as the company steps up R&D spending.

The split will be the best thing, Woodford sold he's GSK years ago because they would not split.Now they are, we will get shares in the new company. Remember Astra came from ICI split off.

Through a new partnership with GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca and the U.K.’s National Health Service, the chip maker Nvidia plans to build Great Britain’s most powerful supercomputer—and dedicate its use to artificial intelligence research in healthcare.

Dubbed Cambridge-1, the machine is designed to deliver 400 petaflops of performance, or 400 quadrillion floating-point calculations per second.

When presented with dense systems of linear equations used in AI—such as simulations of molecular models and chemical interactions among potential drug compounds—it is expected to provide 8 petaflops of supercomputing power, ranking it number 29 on the list of the world’s fastest.

It is slated to come online before the end of the year, with GSK and AstraZeneca among the first drugmakers to use the system. Researchers from King’s College London, Oxford Nanopore and the Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust will also have access.

Soon comes around when you get your dividend every 13 weeks.28th Oct 3rd quarter figures and another 19p in the bag. Can't wait also for the finals in Feb that's 23p dividend.

Where did you go to school monty...did you go to school?...did they have them on the travelers sites??... Interesting spelling. This sinking even on market up days. Dividend cut in Dec. Moderna well ahead of everyone on vaccine incl az.

monty.... but presumably Teva could take it to the next level, though not too sure of legal structure in US. So may not be money in the bank, yet.
