Dividend paid 8th Oct, I expect the shares to finish a lot higher this week, dividend reinvestment plan would kick in buying GSK shares and of course pushing the price higher, thats my theory. Don't want it to high my Isa reinvestment plan I want the shares has cheap has possible. lol

Yup AZN definitely in the lead and will (barring catastrophe) have the first vaccine to market. However, there's room for more than one or two here. spud

One would expect low cost vaccine shared by all signed. 2nd year, of course a free for all. Despite the negatives, AZN are in the lead.

Well Trump's plans for the pharmas is considered unworkable so not a lot of difference regardless of the election result.

Don't forget GSK have two horse in the Corona vaccine race, one with GSK/Sanofi and also they are providing the tech know how to a Chinese company.
The prestige who will be first is massive, don't forget the Corona vaccine will be every year like the flu jab, then the big bucks roll in.

It is if your buying now. GSK is solid the share price will go back up at some stage.
I’m just waiting for the split. But I will not be selling the future medium to long term is good in my view share price has been effected by Advir generic competition but new drugs will compensate lack of sales in advir.

Yield 5.6% dividend every 13 weeks, I really like GSK.

Yes hold on this price until the 8th Oct dividend reinvestment plan kicks in, more shares for your buck.Nothing will change if Biden wins, look at Obama health stocks boomed.

Biden and Trump were talking about pharmas. Hope it's just talk, or pension funds on both sides of the pond will be affected, among other things. Time will tell, but they need to look after the golden geece IMO.

Also, the risk of knocking back drug companies is the last thing to recommend midst a pandemic.
