Back in here today at 1780 also AZN, both should benefit from the Corona situation imho although I can't see many other sectors doing well short term, but still in those as well! This and AZN are a hedge and both XD soon.

It didn't breach the upper trend line so it has re-traced in the current channel.
General market "malaise" I suspect.... unless it finds a vaccine.
I recall reading that an Abbvie drug is being used for a cure to Wuhan flu.

So are you a vegan then? To be fair, other place of the world also have h1n1,swinflu,ebola,mers and other animal related diseases. The wars are between bacteria virus and human beings. Markets in the UK also sell wild birds, rabbits, camel meat... Eating chicken pork beef do not make you seems more civilized.

John Gallagher 22 Jan 2020 12:12PMPharma is killed in the EU by overregulation - eg the banning of Stem Call research . These companies will be moving to the UK - not away from it. Besides the EU has 1 University in the top 50 in the world post Brexit, and Pharma needs University research.

“near” is obviously relative.
I guess it means 20 minutes to you Abdulla ;-)

To me it means 1-3 months. And, if you were wondering, long term, at my age, means death! Lol!

If it decisively breaches the current upper trend line and gets into a new channel 1950 is near term target.

Nothing of any use will be available for at least a year, though that's not for the want of trying.

As two experts (not from GSK) discussed on the Today programme this morning, though work has been underway for a couple of weeks, any viable and approved vaccine is unlikely to be available for at least a year.

That re-emphasises how long it takes for pharmaceutical research to bear fruit.
