03/3/2021 16:08 | I think Walmsley read the shareholder response to this split all wrong and to mention dividend cut before June dividend policy review was a big mistake, also CEO of Astra doing a massive deal and overpaying in my opinion, what's he 62 years old, probably retire in a few years and wants this Alexion deal to be his legacy. Astra were 8200p roughly when deal announced now 6800p, shows the market not keen surely.Lol that's my rant on these two pharma's. | montyhedge
03/3/2021 15:31 | watford: I dont care - I've done sooooooo well on everything else that I did not want to take any further risk. This has been a brilliant day! | netcurtains

03/3/2021 14:43 | Trader My view pharma out of favour, looks like its still tech, commodities stocks, that seem in favour. I see a drift of Astra on the Alexion bid 6200p my target looking at the charts, does not conclude until 2nd half of the year. GSK 1125p with the dividend cut my target there, unless something good happens, I think it was Credit Suisse said 50p dividend, looks about right, especially now 25% corporation tax coming in 2023. I have GSK in my ISA so I do like it, long, long term. | montyhedge
03/3/2021 13:37 | Does not help dividends 25% corporation tax from 19%. | montyhedge
03/3/2021 13:05 | Lol bangs goes a lot of dividend increases. Corporation tax 25% in 2023. | montyhedge
03/3/2021 13:04 | Corporation tax going up to 25% in 2023 his having a laugh. | montyhedge
03/3/2021 12:54 | GSK shareprice holding well, breaking away with this tandem trading with Astra, when Astra up GSK up and normally in tandem. Of course normally works the other way when down, GSK down. | montyhedge
03/3/2021 12:28 | Should cheer up Keir Starmer. | netcurtains
03/3/2021 12:26 | Red finish? | spoole5
03/3/2021 11:09 | When is the next merger due ? | roybel
03/3/2021 10:14 | It is just being played around with at the moment. Hopefully 1200 is forming a floor as support to move on up. | supermarky
03/3/2021 10:03 | Even a strong market can't help this | spoole5
03/3/2021 09:47 | We seem to have consolidated in the 1200p - 1220p range. It is struggling to break out from there, but at least it is holding for the time being. A breakout will come sooner or later, but which way? That is the question - place your bets ladies and gentlemen, which do you think is more likely? | spyder
03/3/2021 09:24 | Maybe there's something huge on the horizon, and we will all be eating our words. | roybel
03/3/2021 08:37 | Montyplonker gets it wrong as usual... "May just go to 1125p pharmas so out of favour". was his post yesterday! I am long here... | lurker
02/3/2021 21:32 | Even the Chief Strategy Officer had the front to accept the awards. Can you believe it? | watfordhornet
02/3/2021 21:01 | Yes it beggars belief. Hopefully more people will make their dissatisfaction known come voting time. I know I will. spud | spud
02/3/2021 20:59 | It seems beyond belief that Emma Walmsley would accept those Options given her performance. Good leadership means doing the right thing. And she should have let them expire. She has been an unmitigated disaster, and how she ever got appointed in the first place is beyond me. The ultimate example of someone being promoted to the level of incompetence. | boozey |
