True but it does have a habit of returning to the same base level. 2002,2003,2008 and 2009. The point I was making was that when it has a major reversal it drops to the base level.

It's currently revisiting the September 2015 low which was also the February 2018 low. On both occasions it bounced up and may do so again but if support fails and it closes below that level then the probability of dropping to the base level is high.

Add 23p on ex div last week not to bad. But if worried about the split why you holding GSK.It's the best thing ever.

On previous occasions when the share price has taken a large fall it has found support at a lower level than current. Maybe worth looking at a Monthly chart.....or maybe not.

kev - i bought 500 ulvr today. still holding these though. gsk will be fine long term, i think selling right now is a mistake. i intend to keep these at least ten years. btw if you hold GSK then you actually have abt 5% of hindustan lever already!
