15/12/2023 07:18 | Fat profit warning. New lows today beckon | dan_the_epic
14/12/2023 23:40 | Can we have the leak option please ;-) | yump
14/12/2023 21:24 | In my experience the rise today is either 1) Short covering from a hugely oversold position 2) Day traders buying with technical levels signalling buyOr3) News about to be announced. This is the leaky ship AIM after all. I guess we will soon find out | workingfromhome
14/12/2023 16:01 | I’m not saying when I bought mine. | yump
14/12/2023 15:36 | I bought my shares much higher Gla | book5
14/12/2023 13:23 | Well I’m happy to see these higher, hopefully it holds as it’s helped my portfolio to positive territory YTD. | battlebus2
14/12/2023 13:14 | Well I hope they can get back to that core business and expand it. It was a healthy business until O&G exploration tanked. | yump
14/12/2023 12:49 | Investing is a form of gambling and always a Risk. But I still believe, speaking as a qualified geophysicist, that what Getech have is hugely valuable as the world races towards a green future and most investors just don't realise it. Yet. It's just up to them to get the message out and sell it. | 32campomar
14/12/2023 12:00 | I think its way early to congratulate people who have a book loss of 50%+. In fact 'well done' is often used where its actually pure luck that someone has made a good choice. This will just be bottom pickers, or someone has wind of some announcement or the bit of tweeting and news has done it. There is absolutely no way any serious growth stock investors would buy this at the moment - it would just be gambling. It doesn't help to have a news blackout on Inverness and Shoreham. Are they dead ? Is there residual value that GTC is going to attempt to sell ? Or were they just projects where GTC expended money and energy with no known or expected realistic return ? Kitchen sink the damn things NOW ! | yump
14/12/2023 11:07 | Seems like the share price has at last turned the corner.Ultimately at some point there is no one left to sell & rebounds can be sharp. If this is a turning point, well done to all those that held on (or like me continued to add) - it's not been a pleasant experience. The small company bear market has been relentless. | 32campomar
13/12/2023 15:15 | There is no reason why we can't have a trading update - it's 3 months since we heard anything.Richard Bennett's stated aim was break even by the year end so he should know now if that's achieved or not. It's a big deal as it means any future contract wins and we are in profit. | 32campomar
13/12/2023 15:10 | Quite right too. Investing on the basis of an announcement that someone is doing some research somewhere and the business has bought a good website name and there’s a nice looking project plan, is what’s caused the skepticism about GTC in the first place. (That all works a treat in a raging bull market or bubble, but we are miles from that market and probably will be for some time. Except possibly in crypto where it looks like the first spot funds might appear next year). | yump
13/12/2023 14:29 | I would assume the absence of an RNS is evidence these are forward investments with no immediate tangible value. Seems the Board has taken to reserving using the RNS for only material contract announcements. | tbrian318
13/12/2023 13:03 | Agree. If it’s market worthy. | battlebus2
13/12/2023 13:00 | More good news todayhttps://twitter | 32campomar
12/12/2023 14:50 | It mentions GTC, but we don't know our fees. It may be a self-financed desk study. This has potential, and it is the reason why I invested here. The industry probably needs support to search for white hydrogen (government tax breaks, EU grants, or philanthropists). We need an RNS given details of new contracts for the share price to rise. | book5
12/12/2023 11:40 | Thanks Campomar It is only a matter of time before the market wakes up to the huge potential of Getech and how substantially undervalued it is. | workingfromhome
12/12/2023 10:28 | Specific mention for Getech in the BBC news story | 32campomar
12/12/2023 10:26 | Could there be a gold rush for buried hydrogen? BBC this morning Getech could be in the right place at the right time https://www.bbc.co.u | 32campomar
11/12/2023 17:45 | I’m also holding tight. Currently almost 6% of my portfolio. It’ll only take one piece of good news to see us recover sharply as in my view the current valuation is only around what we would expect as a breakup price. | battlebus2
11/12/2023 17:38 | Really need the building sold for some cash…. | chrisdgb
11/12/2023 16:43 | god I hope so. Down AGAIN today, just when you think it cannot go any lower! | tbrian318
11/12/2023 15:36 | Absolutely I believe it's seriously mispriced | 32campomar
11/12/2023 15:27 | Does anyone believe the share price can recover from here? I've been holding, hoping to see a climb back towards something like I paid, but I'm wondering if I'm kidding myself? | tbrian318 |
