Very impressive. I am especially pleased to read that "If WTI oil prices average $75-85 per barrel, operating net back for the field are estimated to be approximately $40-50 per barrel"; this means that despite a depressed oil price compared to recent years, GPRK's earnings should continue to show substantial growth in 2015.

Q3 update out

"Oil and gas production increased 66% to a record 21,548 boepd, compared to 3Q2013 - led by strong and continuing growth from GeoPark’s Llanos 34 Block in Colombia together with the initial contribution from the start-up of production in the Company’s Tierra del Fuego Blocks in Chile. The Company continues on-track to reach full year production targets."

Interesting Z. In the presentation Mexico was labelled as an acquisitions target. They are certainly keen to add to their existing portfolio.

One that might go the way of GeoPark is Petro America.

PetroAmerica 'PTA' Canada listed (Colombia E&P).
872.364m shares. Price 25c cdn (Cdn$1 = .555p).
M/Cap £121m. Cash $60m. Debt $35m.
10.8 mmboe P2. 6,600 boepd. 2014 exit estimate 7,400 boepd - nearly all oil.

Targetting 29 mmbo upside over next 6 months with further medium/longer term potential in exploration.

Has already taken a tumble in these markets. Look at the recent valuations of Amerisur £600m+ (now £420m @ 40p s/p) 32.8 mmbo P2, 6,500 bopd. Parex £966m (now £743m @$10cdn), 58 mmboe P2, 25,000 boepd - both Colombia. Surprised GeoPark itself is not valued much higher.

Any further weakness and PTA may be in real bargain territory. One to track from 25c today imo.

Sorry bbluesky, was out of the country for a couple of days and could not get back to you. Thanks Zengas for forwarding link. It should be on the website (do not know why it is not). I assume there could be a roadshow to accompany this latest presentation. Can see a good run from here to reach new highs (not taking into account any major global issues affecting markets). I have added more and am comfortable with my holding.

It is the oil price. Good time to add and top up. Will recover very quickly.

New excellent presentation entiltled "Delivering on Plan and Driving Growth" released today. Very impressive. The share price will not stay this low for too long. DYOR and IMHO.

Strange price reaction imo, but I wonder if it is to let new supporters the chance to buy in? Would like to hear some news of recent drills, but historically these guys are smart on newsflow. The goal looks to be we are the "go to" S.Am oil player, hence the recent ie Brazil, basic deals and then discovery on top. I thought the partnership comment to be significant, it is always in with the state and they have an increasingly proven record on this front. To be crude (ho, ho) they seem to be professionals amongst semi pros/amateurs? One day!!

Reads well to me even if we have to carry our hosts , at least for now . Can't see why this would be weighing on the share price lately , so must be due to decline in P.O.O.GLA

Interesting move into Peru, where they've picked up a 40mmbbls or so (P2) field to develope. Free carry for the NOC, but even so..
