Yes that reads well and their latest presentation looks good, they certainly have a good management team.

I'm impressed how they have cut costs so much.

In a rising oil price environment this would certainly be one to watch.

I agree but I sold my last few shares last year. This was my only oil production exposure and remains on watch. If and when the poo shows signs of recovery I will look at GPRK again.

Two discoveries in a week, both with good initial flow rates.
Shame about the oil price though.
I wonder if they will keep the oil in the ground for a while.

My understanding is that they have secure and substantial unused debt facilities so cash shouldn't be a problem as long as things sort themselves out in the medium term. But the final accounts should be illuminating in a couple of months' time.

Debt is the issue here. There is a worry that the low revenues will not support the payments. I can see them cutting back on the drill programme until the oil price stabilizes and starts to increase in possibly the 2Q. What do others think?

I agree that it is undervalued but I feel that oil and oil shares will continue to be under pressure in the New Year and so they hope to pick up cheap shares and why not!

Not the same as you T90! I see it as a reiteration that the company is undervalued and gives me the same confidence as director's buying, which of course they are but with it not being personal money. In my opinion yet again a smart strategic move by the company and in the best interests of the shareholders.

Small repurchase prog announced

"Santiago, Chile -- December 19, 2014 -- GeoPark Limited (“GeoPark̶1;) (NYSE: GPRK), the Latin American oil and gas explorer, operator and consolidator with operations and producing properties in Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina and Peru, announces that its Board of Directors has approved a program to repurchase up to US$10 million of common shares, par value US$0.001 per share (the “Shares”) of the Company (the “Repurchase Program”).

The Repurchase Program will begin on December 19, 2014 and will expire at the close of business on March 27, 2015, but may be terminated prior to such date"

Really is a time for 'steel balls' if you are a holder. Heard this could go down as low as $2.50! What a bargain that would be. I would fill up if I had more cash but I am sure some fund managers will do so. My buy a couple of weeks ago looks premature but LTH so no worries.

RSI is well oversold, volume has been above average last few sessions and I have also noted that the net cashflow has been positive (that is more buying than selling) yet the price has fallen! I think most of the PI's have been panicked into selling and the funds and investors who believe the Warren Buffet saying that "Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy and Greedy When Others Are Fearful” are sweeping up the shares. All IMHO and DYOR.

Lots of volume again today 182k so far, just about the same as the 28th sell off. Hopefully some buyer can't believe their luck and can buy in size for a change. Wish it were me!

£5.11 was a bargain and I did buy some more but now at just over £4 is also tempting. All depends on the price of oil; the bottom is not far off or we are there now. I suppose this is the time to buy; when all around are panicking or selling.

Considering the progress made this year the present £5.11 is a bargain even taking into account the oil price drop and the dilution during the change of listing. Plus there is loads more to look forward to :-)
