03/10/2013 20:49 | davidosh; the company certainly gave a conference call in the past for investors to join the agm, but I wasnt aware this time. I would join it if I were available on the day. Thanks | ![]() janeann
02/10/2013 13:08 | Was anyone aware that the directors offered a conference call facility for the Agm last week ? It was not flagged in the RNS. Anyway I have requested another if some of you are interested. | ![]() davidosh
27/9/2013 09:47 | not any more riv - buy 100k max at 5p. Byes there is potential to recoup some losses; uncertain whether to buy more at this level. | ![]() janeann
27/9/2013 08:55 | Almost 1m shares traded already today, very healthy. Online looks good too. You can sell 90,000 shares at 4.78p, but only buy 7,500 maximum at 5p. | ![]() rivaldo
27/9/2013 07:58 | Marked up? | ![]() olly2
27/9/2013 07:53 | Nice move up after AGM. Happy that I invested at 3.16 in March. Dont listen to trolls like stegrigo. | ![]() sefton1
26/9/2013 22:31 | Nice - a buy of 403,900 shares at 4.95p reported late on. That's over 1% of the company bought in one chunk... | ![]() rivaldo
26/9/2013 14:04 | Anisha, GNG is profitable. It made £0.1m PBT for the year to 31/3/13, down from £0.4m the year before and £2.6m PBT to 31/3/11. I'd expect a similar or slightly improved result this year. Here's the last results RNS: GNG's problem has always been incredibly slow collection of cash/debtors due to the inordinately slow Chinese banking sector payment culture. However, today's RNS gives encouraging hints that things may be on the turn. We shall see. | ![]() rivaldo
26/9/2013 13:46 | hi rivaldo net cash £2.9 m market cap £es 1.75m what gives any profits tia | anisha

26/9/2013 13:01 | "...which we expect to be in line with our expectations." You know perfectly well what they mean. Nit-picker! :-) | ![]() edmundshaw
26/9/2013 12:47 | That's not interesting to me at all Rivaldo....... I bought at 80p (just saying) | 3taz
26/9/2013 12:25 | Thanks rivaldo. | ![]() shroder
26/9/2013 10:40 | Interesting - online you can only buy 50k max at 3.5p (about £1,750's worth), but you can sell 125k at a premium at 3.09p. | ![]() rivaldo
26/9/2013 09:44 | Well at least the company should be saving on advisor fees - after all what decent advisor would let a release like that go out. Still it was as I expected in line with my expectations !!!! | ![]() joe say
26/9/2013 09:05 | :o)) Is that a tautology or am I mangling my meanings? Not a bad RNS today, with some reasonably positive signs and commentary. Net cash is up by £0.7m from a year ago to £2.9m. In particular - hang out the flags - "we expect that total trade receivables and accrued income at 30 September 2013 to be slightly lower than at 31 March 2013" (shame about the lack of proof-reading). And this at the low point of the cash collection season too, coming into the main debtor payment season in the winter. Shroder, lines of communication are open between management and the major shareholders here, though there's been no contact for a while. If you want, try: wangweidong@geong.co | ![]() rivaldo
26/9/2013 07:40 | "...which we expect to be in line with our expectations." What insight! | ![]() boadicea
25/9/2013 17:03 | Thanks riv. Have you spoken with management recently, if so do you have their contact details? Cheers, | ![]() shroder
25/9/2013 15:53 | Hi Shroder. Not much to say really. It's become a waiting game, which is why it's not worth posting much until something meaningful happens. GNG is IMO a kosher company, completely hamstrung by the payment cycle in its country and in its particular sector (ref BSST for back-up evidence) and hampered by incompetent decision-making and a succession of errors in presentation, PR and strategy. Again imo, it won't go bust, whereas at some stage it will start to collect the cash it's owned, if only by virtue of time passing if not any particular skill in improving collection periods! The share price may not progress much until the threat of dilution from conversion of the loan note is removed. We shall see. It's sometimes a very good time to invest when sentiment is at rock-bottom. That's as brief as I can make it. You pays your money and makes your choice :o)) | ![]() rivaldo
25/9/2013 15:19 | riv, what is your take on Geong these days? | ![]() shroder
23/8/2013 13:30 | Yup, Im clearly a Troll and I live under a bridge.... Which coincidentally is where you will end up living if you put your faith in this bunch of muppets. | ![]() stegrego
22/8/2013 13:57 | Pretty much any one will do. Do you deny you use multiple usernames? Do you object to people double checking what you say? Do you take your medication in a timely fashion? | zangdook
22/8/2013 13:51 | zankdook = idiot Name a single company - even a single instance with any company -- where my 'trolling' was wrong. | ![]() augustusgloop |
