14/9/2012 12:29 | Surely there must be encouraging news - this can't all be down to your doodles! | ![]() marth
14/9/2012 10:27 | GNG always was leaky as an old sieve ;-) Decent news coming with the AGM statement, I reckon | ![]() sir rational
13/9/2012 18:48 | The US central bank said it will buy $40bn (£25bn) of mortgage-backed bonds a month to stimulate the housing market and keep long-term interest rates low. Short-term interest rates will be held at the record low until the middle of 2015, a move the Fed hopes will force investors to buy riskier assets. | ![]() sir rational
13/9/2012 18:24 | So far on track | ![]() sir rational
13/9/2012 12:43 | Soon be in profit at this rate, Davidosh | ![]() sir rational
12/9/2012 17:07 | Stegrego, thats why i used the term honest effort. Surely there has got to be some way of satisfying shareholders that the receivables figure is genuine and likely to be paid. | ![]() smicker
12/9/2012 16:52 | Directors have been met UK investors several times before, but that didnt stop this debacle. In fact it just suckered people in more. | ![]() stegrego
12/9/2012 14:46 | Sorry, i didnt mean it that way. I'm overseas so i wouldnt be able to make a meeting but the investment case here IMO is a matter of trust in the directors and anything which indicates they are making an honest effort to communicate with the shareholders would encourage me to make a more significant investment. | ![]() smicker
12/9/2012 13:45 | Give him a chance! ;-) Expression of interest here as well but I need as much notice as possible, pls. | ![]() sir rational
12/9/2012 13:23 | davidosh, In a previous post you stated that you hoped to arrange a presentation and in your next post you mention "with the ability to question management at an alternative date to the Agm". Has the presentation now been agreed to by management? | ![]() smicker
12/9/2012 10:03 | FWIW the trades showing as sells at 5.8 are buys | ![]() smicker
11/9/2012 20:36 | Well the auditors have verified the figures, the cash and the quality of the debtor book which I understand to be mainly with very slow paying but blue chip companies. At this level and with the ability to question management at an alternative date to the Agm I am prepared to take an educated risk on shareholder value coming through within a year or so. The directors are not visibly taking large amounts out of the business and have significant stakes so pride and committment should not be a problem either. Basically the risk/reward looked heavily stacked in my favour at 4.7p so I made my move. I am certainly not in a concert party but a good few others seem to have come to the same conclusion. We shall see how it pans out but I would certainly appreciate keeping the discussion here sensible | ![]() davidosh
11/9/2012 18:28 | I can only think that the stuff going on behind closed doors has revealed things that aren't currently in the public domain. Either that or gamblers anonymous are having a day out ;) | ![]() stegrego
11/9/2012 17:31 | Why are you topping up? The business looks to be in terminal decline and the already dubious profit figures (if you're unable to collect a significant portion of your debts, then it shouldn't have been called a profit in the first place IMO) are slipping toward a loss. The discount to NAV obviously appears ridiculous, but what's the out? How are you expecting to see any of that value given that this is a Chinese company and they do not seem to be big on shareholder returns? | ![]() stewjames
11/9/2012 14:43 | Davidosh, good to see you topping up so heavily. You were probably competing with me for stock at 4.5p or so :o)) | ![]() rivaldo
10/9/2012 16:24 | Good stuff, thanks. #Highlyrespectedinve | ![]() sir rational
10/9/2012 16:04 | I will admit to having tripled my holding in the last three days. At least my avg price is now in single digits so hopefully I will see a profit at some point. I also hope to arrange a presentation with management in the coming month as clearly nobody investing from the UK is likely to attend the Agm. | ![]() davidosh
10/9/2012 15:08 | GNG - can only buy max 25k online, quote and deal.....best offer was 5.9p. f | ![]() fillipe
10/9/2012 13:58 | AGM convened to be held on 20 September 2012 at 9:00am UK time. We could hope for a bit of an update along with the AGM. | ![]() sir rational
10/9/2012 13:53 | No shareholding RNSs, I suppose | ![]() sir rational
10/9/2012 13:46 | No teasing, just asking a question :o)) Don't presume as to the actions of PI's here just because they haven't been posting. | ![]() rivaldo |
