24/1/2002 13:31 | Forgot to say increased RBOS short at 1796p. Avg 1790p. Was a small position, but now twice as big - in for a penny and won't miss stop this time!! | big al 39
24/1/2002 13:31 | going to sneak off for a little sleep now,set the alarm clock for an hours time,up just in time for boyfriend returning from work, make it look like ive been busy all day,its this dieting and gym routine, its knackering me out,lol Nigel, dont tempt me,its hard enough driving past mcdonalds nearly everyday, | ruth
24/1/2002 13:28 | Hotei, saw your post after I posted about PIC. Over the last couple of weeks it has seen lots of resistance at 375, looks to be a 25k bot there at the moment as well. Support is at 345-350 level (just missed a long there this week actually). Many of these sells don't seem to go onto the SETS, they just take the buy side when it's high enough. Similar situation on JMAT except in reverse. L2 is always negative, when the sell book is low enough the buyers come in. Bizarre frankly. | rdj20
24/1/2002 13:25 | Ruth ...£15 will buy a good fish supper ...go on treat yourself you know chips are good for you ...(keep up with the diet) | nigel
24/1/2002 13:25 | SIP looks like it has closed its minor gap around £1.20p, and should be heading up again moves very fast when it gets going, and volumes are fairly low so possibly not for a day trade | reshp
24/1/2002 13:24 | RBOS L2 looking better. Shorted PIC from 375, v. risky, banking on a bit of a sell-off in the next few days. | rdj20
24/1/2002 13:23 | long sab(not a day trade) | ruth
24/1/2002 13:22 | royce - don't rub it in! LOL Tim | tim
24/1/2002 13:20 | PIC level 2 looking interesting, with a 15p gap on the sell side fast approaching | hotei
24/1/2002 13:16 | Short AVZ, money is not going to pour into the stockmarket from punters in this kind of enrivonment. At this price it looks vulnerable in the medium term! | rdj20
24/1/2002 13:07 | Tony, just watching really, but jumping in occasionally when i feel the odds are 80/20 my favour, | ruth
24/1/2002 13:06 | goforit Not sure really, 1.68ish maybe. If it tests 1.70 I will try a short failing, that I will wait for it to fall back before going long. | llucky
24/1/2002 13:06 | tim maybe a stupid question but why did you not cover barc around 2190?? i know i did. worst i knew it would rise but did not go long.as i like you think its buy the rumour sell the fact | royce
24/1/2002 13:04 | closed barc short,it did try and fake me out by jumping 15 points at one stage, but i knew it would come back down eventually, made a huge gain, are you ready for this,+3,hey dont laugh thats a fifteen quid better in my pocket than cmcs, lol | ruth
24/1/2002 13:01 | Hi folks, just dropped in again over lunch.Glad to see LOG flying, but have lost any ability to measure the trading range which had seemed to be well established at 600-800.As I see it sheer power of short money is controlling this stock irrespective of chart signals OR fundamentals. The other nasty thought is - are they lying in their teeth like moni.I wouldn't like to think so,and they have never let the market down yet. Ruth, don't tell me you've gone back to the techs - or are you still only watching them? | tonyjackson@ireland.
24/1/2002 13:00 | Short LLOY RBOS BARC, good news of the results already in IMHO. LLOY avg 754, RBOS 1756 oops, Barc 2302 from last hike. Rob Message on its way Tim | tim
24/1/2002 13:00 | yes we have to line up with US but was the UK not out of kilter yesterday? The other way - down proportionately more than the States.. so at what level does that even out. Gym now for me ... The Think of Royce treadmill .. | alchemy
24/1/2002 11:53 | Added to my RBOS short at 1800. Usually when everyone starts saying, it's not going to go down is the best time to short it. Let's hope anyway! PSON short looking good now. | rdj20
24/1/2002 11:53 | dont know specto, was watching yesterday and went short 1758.closed my short this am(nearly reversed).dont like the look of l2,tight s/l for me | goforit
24/1/2002 11:51 | Any chance that the US is expecting Greenspan to be less gloomy than he was the other day? | forwood
24/1/2002 11:46 | Looking for short entry on RBOS, but want to know reason for strength first. Clear breakout if closes here. | spectoacc
