Yes, I know I'm spot on, I always am.

Hands up if you can spot the obvious problem....

1)The Fertell Home Fertility Testing Kit for Couples, £79.99, was launched last week and contains his 'n' hers devices.

2)The second home sperm-test I tried was the FertilitySCORE (£19.99).

Oops! Just the 400% more for the Fertell product then!!

Are Fertell planning a 'single' test ?

The above article doesn't say if FS can be used by a woman, if it can, then why would anyone buy the Fertell couples test, when it seems both products produce accurate results ?!

Impressed that boots are willing to invest in that type of marketting. Will be curious to hear how sales are going.

From the daily Mail

Trying for a baby can be one of the most exciting and rewarding times of your life. It can also leave you and your partner feeling frustrated, anxious and helpless if conceiving is taking longer than planned.

For one-in-seven couples conception via unprotected intercourse is not always straightforward.

However, of all couples trying to conceive, 70 per cent will be successful within six months, 85 per cent within a year and 95 per cent within two years (Source: www.hfea.gov.uk).

The waiting can be frustrating. Particularly if you have been to see your GP and they advised that they can't make a referral for further investigation until you and you partner have been trying for at least a year (or at least six months if you are 35 or over).

As age is a key factor affecting a couple's fertility, early diagnosis is crucial to help you start planning and managing the steps to potential conception.

Fertell is a breakthrough home fertility testing kit for couples and has been developed to help you and your partner take control of your fertility journey.

The Fertell Male Fertility Test is an easy-to-use device that measures sperm quality. The test can be used in the privacy of your own home and the results are delivered in around 80 minutes.

Sperm Quality is evaluated by measuring the concentration of sperm that can swim forwards towards the egg and far enough to fertilise it. These sperm are known as MOTILE sperm. The test replicates what happens in a woman's body once ejaculation has happened. The test will show whether the level of motile sperm is above or below the normally expected levels needed to reach and fertilise the egg. The test should only be used in conjunction with the instructions within the packaging.

The Fertell Female Test is an easy-to-use, one-step device that measures the quantity of healthy eggs women have left. This measure is known as Ovarian Reserve.

Ovarian Reserve is measured by picking up the level of a particular hormone in your urine. This hormone is called Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and gives an indication of the quantity of healthy eggs you have remaining. If you are producing too much FSH it is likely that your ovaries are not responding to the hormone and your ability to conceive maybe decreased.

The test will show whether the FSH level is above healthy cut-off levels. The test should only be used in conjunction with the instructions within the packaging.

Minder,

The advertising wasn't free! It would have cost plenty to a PR company to secure that air time.

All money well spent IMO though

Kind regards

The kits went on sale in Ireland in 100 large branches of Boots Chemists following what the makers said was a successful launch of the product in Britain a week ago.

Fundamentals of Genosis look good. With a market cap of £18million, they only need to be make a profit of £1.8million to be on a price to earnings of 10. That would be very cheap. Current P.E average for healthcare is well above 20, so half that profit would be a fair price for the shares. Assuming there have a profit margin of £10 a product there would need to sell 180000 units a year. However if the margin is £20, it would be 90,000, and so on.

Information I have suggests the margin is close to £20 a unit, which indicates the share justifies its price. Not sure how many units Boots have ordered, any comments welcome.

Guys if you think the market from Boots UK is big, just wait until this product gets launched in the states. BIG bucks time then!

Have a good weekend.

Fingers crossed that boots are displaying "Out Of Stock" tomorrow. All that free publicity must be good for a few sales.
