16/6/2007 16:01 | barry, regards filling an order, looks like it to me. maybe an RNS soon? | humbugg
16/6/2007 10:11 | Don777, Quite a lot of sells went thro. on Friday, and still no drop in bid, so must be filling a very large order........imho... | barrywhit
15/6/2007 16:32 | Barry, thanks a lot not just early amount, later 100K also went through at 31P. so i can have a rest. | don777
15/6/2007 14:32 | Just a personal observation but I reckon that, though the price may dip into the upper/mid 20's in the short term, the longterm should be highly rewarding. Target price of well over a squid within 18 montns is more than just a probability, more a reality I'd say, providing they remain on course and retain billion dollar shareholders. Worth a punt is my view. Brick... | brick benidorm
15/6/2007 12:07 | Don777 The NMS is only 3k so will be delayed by an hour, get your broker to ring for a sell of 100k... | barrywhit
15/6/2007 11:48 | i also feel very stranger here. i list only 23555 shares to sell from the morning and it has not gone through yet. if i could get full bid price today, i will sell another 100K. | don777
15/6/2007 10:48 | See they took another 142 today...lol.... I had to sell a few the other day to cover another position that went badly wrong but i couldn't get an online quote from TDW for more than 5k. Brokers had to do it over the phone all for 11666 shares. It makes me wonder why these are so tightly controlled to mere mortals like me yet someone can come along and dump 100k in one go and get the full bid? | digger27
14/6/2007 17:33 | Don777, They are still happy to take all the sells, still filling orders...imo | barrywhit
14/6/2007 17:16 | Big sells today. | don777
11/6/2007 17:11 | Some-one is still happy to keep taking the sells, another 180k today and no drop in the bid.........looking strong....... | barrywhit
11/6/2007 10:43 | From the GPC partner Aker's website is the following which may give a clue as to when drilling will start on our licences. "Welcome to Aker Drillings website. In April 2008 the first of Aker Drilling's up to four top-of-the-class sixth generation semi-submersible drilling rigs for harsh environment and ultra-deep water drilling will be ready for operation. The features of the Aker Drilling rigs make them a natural first choice for oil companies exploring wells in challenging waters as well as development drilling programs worldwide. The Aker H-6e semi-submersible drilling rig represents something entirely new in the rig industry. Based on more than 30 years of experience and construction of 39 Aker H-3 and Aker H-4 class drilling units, the Aker H-6e rigs are a size up from other sixth-generation rigs. The 6e designation denotes that they have been designed for extreme offshore regions and to strict environmental specifications. The many advanced design and operational features of these rigs provide Aker Drilling with a competitive edge for future drilling awards by environmentally responsible and safety conscious oil companies." | baht
06/6/2007 17:03 | Cheers bd5........good luck with your investments....... | barrywhit
06/6/2007 15:58 | barry, thanks very much for the info. I do admit I have lost interest in this share. All my initial enthusiasm has gone. I dumped half my holding awhile ago at a big loss to put elsewhere in a company that are currently drilling. Consolidation for vanity reasons imo and this stuffed the share. Gone are the days when the share price moves up on gaining more licences and promising seismics. I hadn't realised they were going to take so long to actually get drilling when I plowed in here more than a year ago. Timings all and I could well buy more when plans for drilling are available. Good luck all and especially those in from pre consolidation. | bigdog5
06/6/2007 10:33 | BD5, From the research note "Genesis now has funds for drilling, and the company expects to take part in up to four; substantial potential exploration wells in 2008" "Drilling is a key catalyst for share price change, but we think it is more important in coming months for Genesis, and its key partners Conoco and Lundin, to high-grade the portfolio, We expect that this will lead to changes in Genesis' asset base, through by farm-in and -out as well as new licenses".... Have a very strong positive feeling for this company, with their Seismic data base and their tie-up with Aker Group and PSG......looks like a very good long-term hold..........IMHO | barrywhit
05/6/2007 19:57 | Interesting RNS in that John Woolgar has just launched onto Plus Market a new "Green" company to specialise in Hydro Electric projects Running River (RUNP), so possibly stepping down to be able to concentrate on the new project. | baht
05/6/2007 19:25 | Does anyone have any idea how soon a drill anywhere could be? | bigdog5
05/6/2007 17:45 | Out with the old and in with the new.........director | barrywhit
05/6/2007 16:29 | 170k @ 32p.....nice buy for some-one........ | barrywhit
01/6/2007 13:49 | For any newcomers, read the Research Note issued by: Jefferies International Ltd. issued 1st. May 2007.....there is a pdf on the Genesis website, under Investor section, Research Note.......this note gives a great insight into the company, and also shows a BUY recommendation with a 56p price target and that was before the latest Norwegian Licenses where issued, and doesn't take into account the cash position of approx. £13million which equates to another 13p per share.....makes great reading........also DYOR.... | barrywhit
01/6/2007 10:29 | Well done you sleuths. This company is starting to get it together at long last. | digger27
01/6/2007 10:18 | I also suspect the Norwegians have already in part factored a successful outcome into the share price | baht
01/6/2007 10:17 | rd Perhaps it means the consortium will have to acquire the 3D data from Genesis which is part of the reason they are in the group in the first place. Just a thought. | baht
01/6/2007 10:08 | So do I take it that they already have the necessary seismic data? RNS seems to say that they have to "acquire" it. How much is that likely to cost? | rdpounder
01/6/2007 09:27 | rdpounder...thanks for your input........... | barrywhit |
