The gas has not evaporated. We are talking about a paper exercise.

The cash at hand and what is owed to GENL well exceeds what is owed in the bonds.

There will be no trouble rolling over , if necessary.

Yes, I do, but that is based on history now. The investment case has changed hugely. Taq Taq is of negligible value, and the BoD have already warned us of significant right downs to both Gas and debt owed. If the debt cannot be refinanced, then GENL is finished.

It's the right-down on Gas that scares me most as that is the plum asset IMO.

The GENL Gas asset worth c. $1bn or around 300p per share by itself.

This is what Bilgin are after.

A successful bid at 300p and the KRG back payments + Tawke + Taq Taq all in for free.

This now looks like a certain bid situation IMO.

I think WShak only holds the bonds - he is primarily a distressed bond investor. A failing reservoir isn't good for anyone.

Depending on the scale of right-offs we see tomorrow, then solvency could become an issue very quickly.

w1ndy - as long as the lenders still have faith in krg payment coming forward albeit at a slow rate they will remain supportive IMO , rather that than pull the plug

the bonds may not be secured, but if a business cannot pay its debts, the lenders will get the court to call in the administrators , that how it works.
