29/3/2017 16:25 | tawke has 500mb 2p left! that's not only gas... | panagos
29/3/2017 16:17 | this is only gonna have gas left. very sad state of affairs here. | wantmorethan24p
29/3/2017 16:15 | guys take a seriously look at gulfsands. my year end target price is 20p. | wantmorethan24p
29/3/2017 16:07 | I see Brent is a bit perkier at $52.04. May it continue to rise | cyan
29/3/2017 16:05 | The gas has not evaporated. We are talking about a paper exercise. The cash at hand and what is owed to GENL well exceeds what is owed in the bonds. There will be no trouble rolling over , if necessary. | cyan
29/3/2017 15:56 | Ni short, no position. Yes, I do, but that is based on history now. The investment case has changed hugely. Taq Taq is of negligible value, and the BoD have already warned us of significant right downs to both Gas and debt owed. If the debt cannot be refinanced, then GENL is finished. It's the right-down on Gas that scares me most as that is the plum asset IMO. | golfhelicopter12345
29/3/2017 15:44 | Have you got a short on golf? Do you remember posting this; golfhelicopter12345 - 19 Jan 2017 - 17:51:04 - 14001 of 17167 Genel Energy - "Largest oil producer in Kurdistan region of Iraq" - GENL The GENL Gas asset worth c. $1bn or around 300p per share by itself. This is what Bilgin are after. A successful bid at 300p and the KRG back payments + Tawke + Taq Taq all in for free. This now looks like a certain bid situation IMO. | cyan
29/3/2017 15:35 | I think WShak only holds the bonds - he is primarily a distressed bond investor. A failing reservoir isn't good for anyone. | hpcg
29/3/2017 15:29 | Depending on the scale of right-offs we see tomorrow, then solvency could become an issue very quickly. | golfhelicopter12345
29/3/2017 15:04 | Buy order set for tomorrow at 43p ... lets see :-) | carla1
29/3/2017 14:48 | W1NDJAMMER "who are the bond holders ?" WShak for one; holds shares and bonds. Looks like a lot are waiting for the results before committing. | cyan
29/3/2017 14:34 | Volume isn't very high considering | newswseller
29/3/2017 14:28 | D1NGA thats true they might, but my point is don`t think because the bonds are not secured that the company is safe, who are the bond holders ? WJ. | w1ndjammer
29/3/2017 14:28 | tomorrow.. bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb and ting! | kris akabusi
29/3/2017 14:27 | these shorters certainly have dedication! | kris akabusi
29/3/2017 14:23 | w1ndy - as long as the lenders still have faith in krg payment coming forward albeit at a slow rate they will remain supportive IMO , rather that than pull the plug | d1nga
29/3/2017 14:15 | Another Afren I'm afraid here, maybe worth trading further down the bottomless pit but that's it! | topazfrenzy
29/3/2017 14:14 | the bonds may not be secured, but if a business cannot pay its debts, the lenders will get the court to call in the administrators , that how it works. WJ. | w1ndjammer
29/3/2017 13:59 | No hurry to get back in here, the news is shocking and so is the board, the 20s beckon before long IMO | topazfrenzy |
