The gas assets have been tested for impairment as a result of a revision to the assumed date of project sanction and phasing together with updated cost estimates. The combination of these factors has resulted in both a reduction and delay in the timing of the cash flows associated with the asset and a consequent reduction in its carrying value. In addition, the estimate of the discount rate used for impairment testing of gas assets has increased from 12.5% to 15%. This increase reflects investor perception of a sustained increase in both Turkish and KRI risk given the continued political and financial uncertainty in both countries. The revised estimates and assumptions have resulted in an impairment expense of $581.3 million.

I'm not buying more but there is nothing in those results to make a holder (who didn't bail out earlier in the week) sell now.Where the price goes today, next week or next month is irrelevant to me really. Long term I'm more optimistic now than I was yesterday.

Lots of folk mentioning this in the same breath as AFR and GKP - that is fundamentally flawed.

Halving of the balance sheet but lots of cash and purchasing of bonds no doubt at a lowish percentage of nominal value.

Remembering that market cap is a fraction of balance sheet equity value this might look cheap in a while.

Alamiason you are a sick man. If you have no holding here why waiting our time. You enjoy if company is in trouble, get very unset and play with your tail when company doing well. Good luck to you to recover from your sickness.

Tha main thing is the company has stopped bleading money and preserving cash. Had been priced for bankruptcy so I see some uplift.
