The pipeline will start flowing again I expect but the issue of who gets what does not seem to have been resolved. It appears to me Iraq will try to force oil companies off their current lucrative Kurdish PSCs and onto very unattractive TSCs instead, perhaps not straight away but the intention is certainly there. Why would ExxonMobil settle for a TSC on mega field West Qurna (which they have currently) if other companies are allowed much more profitable PSCs? This opens up a can of worms.

I would like to know what the 'oil bosses' at the meeting think as none of them has said anything since. All Kurdistan oil producers seem to have gone quiet. And no oil flowing yet.

Iraq's autonomous Kurdistan region is to resume oil exports though Turkey Monday but in the future they will be supervised by the federal government in Baghdad, officials from both sides said.
