26/6/2018 07:31 | that's why it went into the trading business from its bedsit in Dorset........not enough income from the stuffing side of business. ps. its still waiting for genel to fall to 43p in order to fill its buy order. LOL! | panagos
26/6/2018 07:19 | Its just carla not getting enough stuffing lately... | panagos
25/6/2018 21:41 | A year ago we were dreaming of 60$ oil and £2 share price. So not to shabby. BP down 3.5% so not the end of the world. Oil 74.5$ a barrel so who knows what tomorrow will bring. It was never going to keep just going up and up. Hawkey | hawkey2
25/6/2018 21:30 | A tually if I remembee correctly you amd your valve specialist mate pogue were calling it a sell at 94p back in December before the boomage all the way to 300p? | panagos
25/6/2018 21:29 | Wasn't talking to you trannimator. | panagos
25/6/2018 21:00 | Kulvinder do you remember back in December it fell from 180p to 94p im a few weeks? A couple of months later it was flirtimg worh 300p.When it moves it moves fast. | panagos
25/6/2018 20:57 | Should bounce back tomorrow IMO ( I bought a few so fingers crossed) API data and POO could be interesting tomorrow evening small volume fall , be nice to see a few more director buys | d1nga
25/6/2018 20:29 | I must admit even for the most positive person on this stock, 300 seems hell of a long way off, let alone 350, after today's stuffing. | kulvinder
25/6/2018 20:27 | No skin in the game true , so maybe an unbiased view? Or is he just a paid ramper? If so genl aint paying him enough | d1nga
25/6/2018 19:43 | Very serious possiblity and the question has been asked. This is three years old but highlights others thoughts; Malcy's blog from April 2015; "Finally there were some other nuggets in the interview that shareholders might like to see, looking at the way forward it seems as if one path is through strong growth and the other is if the company received an offer "they could not refuse" both of which are equally likely apparently. I am convinced that Genel will be taken over at some stage and that there will be a serious consolidation of assets in Kurdistan as demonstrated by the activities mentioned above by GKP, at 476p Genel is significantly undervalued especially if Tony isnt going anywhere in a hurry." | cyan
25/6/2018 18:11 | cyan, somebody posted I think a Rudaw tweet on LSE recently quoting consolidation expected in Kurdistan oil and gas.The way I've phrased it makes it sound like the kind of ramp you see on a ukog thread, and I'm generally skeptical of these kinds of rumours as they tend to do the rounds.Nonetheless, what do you think of the landscape for M&A in Kurdistan now vs recent past? Not looking for blue sky, just curious about your thoughts. On the pro-side I see Russian commitments to the region, increasing investment by operators in the region, relative political stability, established payments making this a viable government to do business with (viable enough??).On the downside, still a middle eastern hot potato... | amr2o17
25/6/2018 18:02 | Do not discount the possibility of a takeover of GENL. Things can happen , 'out of the blue' The gas makes it worth the waiting; circa £400 million PER ANNUM Gross revenues on the already agreed terms of $1.20 per thousand cubic feet supplied for processing. | cyan
25/6/2018 17:45 | Ok let's wait and see...I will not say 350p until we are there. | panagos
25/6/2018 17:41 | Yh well all I've hearing is 3.50 let's reach 3 first | teamwork1
25/6/2018 17:37 | Hey teamwork1...i am only talking about 350p and been right since 70p all the way up...thata how market works | panagos
25/6/2018 17:16 | Yeah with you on that NB; I've had enough for now of trying to second guess PoO, and GENL for that matter.I was confident GENL would be steady/up today, but, as you say, it's had a good run so perhaps needs to recharge its batteries. That's fine. Could have played it better, and I generally prefer to trade than hold for long periods, but sometimes get worn out with tracking every share price move and am happy to wait for a fresh high when it comes along here, which I believe it will.I'd been contemplating putting a bit from here into HUR, but am just gonna leave it here for now after our convos the other week and mulling it over. £1billion market cap over there looks too high to me until they have proof of concept. It seems crazy when you compare to the MC here and the balance sheet. Value will out... | amr2o17
25/6/2018 16:50 | It`s got nothing to do with MMs...Its buying or selling pressure. Next you`ll be saying its being manipulated?! | nicebut
25/6/2018 16:46 | Need it to seriously turn round, as no new news is hurting the share price badly as the mm's keep taking advantage of nothing coming out re gas agreement etc by taking out stops.... | kulvinder
25/6/2018 16:44 | See what you mean- Guess someone is selling, perhaps....Think this trade stuff is really spooking the market, add in the Brexit shambles non-sense and voila?? I really don`t know what is going to happen with PoO- One day its up 1.8% the next its down 1.8%...volatility is sometimes a precursor to a change of direction- I keep calling it wrong though, I know that...I thought it`d be down on Friday morning then up...But it was up then up some more and and now down today! Doh! Time to leave it to others for a few days/weeks methinks. | nicebut |
