Awise355Peel took a big chunk of 1.55m (which was probably from BFG) last week that they are feeding back bit by bit.The positive side is BGF only had the shares as GDR converted the last of its debt.So GDR is debt free and tiny market cap going into a deal with a major US pharm.Ignore intraday and look at the bigger picture. Once sales numbers start coming in from later in the month onwards then the fireworks will begin IMHO

Hi Bill, my first buy was 170p and it has been a tough ride since then but I bought 1000s between 40 - 50p so ave 95p now.BC was the only reason I was in as for such a small company to tie up with a large pharm for mass automated testing the figures on our current market cap are mind blowing and last week's news was a huge relief and vindication that I backed the right horse.And it all kicks off in 2 weeks in the US. The PHE order for 4 machines was a nice little bonus and other news due but happy to sit, wait and watch.HC

Working it all out using 50 weeks instead of 52 and then multiplying by 3 you get a market cap of £84m which is £1.33 a share on just those 4 machines.

Hi Hooded Claw Thanks for your input regarding the revenue from UK project. Expecting BC to give us more info in the next two weeks regarding USA revenue. I am expecting them to have double or even triple that projected capacity and if so can I be first to say it BOOM!!!! Having said that even if it was only the same as the UK I believe we will do very nicely.First started buying this share at 180.Thankfully topped up at 49 and 68 so brought my average down a lot!!

I really do hope thst BGF are out now?

Distribution agreement with Beckman Coulter Life Sciences for COVID-19 PCR testing



genedrive plc (AIM: GDR), the near patient molecular diagnostics company, announces that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Beckman Coulter Life Sciences ("Beckman Coulter") for its Genedrive® 96 SARS-CoV-2 Kit. The agreement enables Beckman Coulter to sell and distribute genedrive's high-throughput COVID-19 PCR Kit in the United States and Europe for use on upper respiratory viral samples. The agreement is the result of the collaboration agreement announced in August 2020, under which the companies worked to develop and validate a fully automated PCR process for Beckman Coulter's Biomek automated workstation in conjunction with its RNAdvance Viral XP extraction kit.



The Genedrive® 96 SARS-CoV-2 test is ideally suited for use on the high throughput robotic Biomek i7 instrument. The ready-to-go nature of the test removes many of the fluid dispensing steps required in competitor assays, increasing the overall throughput of the Biomek compared to using a liquid reagent based test formulation. Full automation of the overall PCR workflow can allow laboratories to run large numbers of tests over extended working hours or workstation platforms. Beckman Coulter estimates that this new turnkey solution could process circa 1,000 PCR samples per Biomek workstation installed during a standard 8-hour working day, using just a 0.5 full-time-equivalent in technician time for processing.


The Companies are planning commercial introduction of the Genedrive kit from mid February, following commercial and technical training of the Beckman sale and support organisations.

This is a gift under £1.50 thanks to BGF who could be out or very close to being. Keep eye out for the TR1. When we get projected figures or actual sales figures coming through this will march on to £6 plus. Don't forget all the other overdue news. I see 4 i7 biomek's have just been ordered to the UK by PHE. This will be the NCYT style rise of 2021 only difference is GDR have positioned themselves in much much bigger market place with an absolute giant of a partner.

Ah OK .. I was told they will be running 2 shifts 7 days week so all correct for profit. To equate to market cap better to use £10 revenue rather than £6 profit.
