MMs really are shaking out weak holders pre results next week. Let's hope they are positive and GEMD breaks out. Low volume knocking it back to support levels.

The other thing to note is that on many of the presentations I have seen during research the emphasis is often not on the really big stones over 100 carats but on the number of recoveries of stones in the 20 to 60 carat range which they say is their biggest earner overall. The big stones make all the headlines but are not necessarily the most important financially they say.

Not sure but I think it may be due to the share price not reacting as strongly as thought to news when each stone is announced, maybe they think it will have more impact only quarterly but only guessing

Sounds strange, and also not in shareholders best interests.

What valid reasons could there be for such a news blackout? Were any given in the telecon? Surely the company would want to be issuing such positive news and news that would attract new shareholders etc.

Thinking of topping up again at these levels, the outlook from the recent update was generally very positive and a nice fancy pink 13carat diamond was announced just after. Should fetch a good sum per carat. Any further new finds between now and full results should also help the share break through the 110p barrier.

Great to see LUC unearth another big stone, the 3rd this year, this time 223 carats. With results on Thursday great timing! Am sure GEMD are also ready to fly with full results in a few weeks, another good sized stone announced before then would set it up nicely.

it always seems to be pretty bad. I'm not holding but when it finally breaks out of this range it should move by about 50p, fingers crossed to the upside. 110-115p brakout point roughly target 160p, imo

Agreed, maybe pushing 120p around full results time in March and going forward the next 12 months 140p my price target

Yes for sure, I would hope to see 120-140 here within the next 12 months if large diamonds continue to be unearthed.

Good support and not much selling after the slightly disappointing update, can see GEMD having another good year though and at prices below 110p they are a great buy IMO.
