As of February 28, 2025, the company reported a total of 141,252,668 Ordinary Shares in issue, with a total voting rights figure of 139,732,498. This follows the planned retirement of Michael Lynch-Bell after nine years of service. Rosalind Kainyah will assume the role of Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee upon Janet's arrival, reflecting the company's commitment to strong corporate governance practices.

Good luck MTT, I hope your patience is rewarded. |
I'm sticking with my massive losses. Yes I know I shouldn't but I'll wait at least till they get into the steeper sat pipe and hopefully chase down big stones. |
Completely sold out a couple of months ago. Nothing to do with the horrible state of the diamond market, GEMD is fairly unique in that most of its sales come from > 10cts diamonds. |
Shocking results from Anglo and huge De Beers loss reported, several billion, diamond miners are finished imo |
Ps thanks S25 |
If any of the buyers are officially connected then we're in bid territory and can expect notification. Of course it's a long way to j'burg so it might be unofficial. |
Okay, those trades were delayed and hit later yesterday. Slightly odd, because the trade prints normally hit first and then the parties exchanging disclose. Sometimes they taken a while to disclose as well. Sustainable Capital didn't hang about disclosing. |
Well see boonie, a cross the year it's an inprovement IMO. |
There are no large diamonds to sell. H1-25 will be horrendous P&L. Especially with diamond carat pricing lower too YoY.Meanwhile they haven't found any more additional cost efficiencies to offset the reduced carat pricing. |
The other side to the Sustainable block trade is not showing so it must have been spread about in the market as a clean-up. Good news and a nice fee for the broker. |
As usual I was wrong again. Sustainable are out. Someone has bought the lot. S25 you may well be correct, backdoor. |
Hang on...what? |
Sustainable are out! Rerate looking on! |
Out and about today but better than guidance on first appearance with revenue up and costs flat cf last year. Profit should be up but this year but mine plan is the steeper satellite pipe but we should have something in the tank to cover the upfront costs now. |
Operationally going okay and if anything could be above guidance.. full year results should be very good! |
Not a holder anymore but interested to read their update on Wednesday. Rather odd how their large stones dried up in an instant. |
Buy out at this price? |

Chris, |
Had another look, and a rather quick no, Gemfields Group Limited, down 50% in recent weeks, today down 12% after suspending mining operations of precious gems, does nothing to add confidence to the sector. |
Thanks mts. Sustainable are selling down at whatever price they can and add that to very little share price volume, it's clear this will take a long time to clear. Apart from a few hourly spikes from traders playing with it, it just isn't worth watching the price drop lower and lower. Sustainable are must be annoyed with Clifford and the remuneration as shown in the voting rights RNS. GLA hope it bouncers for you all! |
Gem claims another victim. Best of luck Swinsco. |
My main concern was the short term debt. That has now been kicked two years down the road. The steeper open pit walls at Satellite is a substantial net gain to NPV with more to come from Main. I presume that there's a comprehensive rework of the mining schedule to come. |
