15/7/2016 15:53 | Can anyone tell me why they give a NAV update every day? | monet
14/7/2016 15:45 | The NAV is edging up at 23.99p. Uranium shares in North America led by Cameco are having a better day on the exchanges. Of course, this could lead to a set-back but the lows are possibly in for Uranium. It's below the cost of production for many uranium companies. I think that it will edge higher from here, with greater traction in the last quarter. All of the above is IMHO. Nonetheless, charts from March and April offered a stunning perspective on what could take place for uranium and related stocks later in the year. | dogberry202000
14/7/2016 12:47 | Looks like the ADVFN troll has a hell of a lot more spare time than any of us very sad | my retirement fund
14/7/2016 11:29 | lol what a clown. | captain hindsight
14/7/2016 09:33 | Thanks for updates will take a look at both these when I've plenty of spare time and update header on fsu. Tempted to add again here but need to free up funds elsewhere first | my retirement fund
14/7/2016 08:23 | Another interesting Athabasca-based uranium stock held by GCL is Purepoint Uranium. I researched this as part of my DD on FCU. It's earlier stage than Fission but even cheaper. However I note that it too has started moving - up 14% yesterday. We should see GCLs NAV continuing to improve. I added GCL yesterday. | shavian
13/7/2016 17:40 | MRF: many thanks for doing that, can you help by putting a link on the header to the company website: www.fissionuranium.c | shavian
13/7/2016 12:10 | There you go just search for FCU, or just add link below to your favorites I should be really grateful for as much of your insight and research you can post about FCU on this thread I for one would be interested to learn more | my retirement fund
13/7/2016 11:30 | Hi Guys, may I rejoin your cozy thread for the first time in 5 years? Interested to see that Fission Uranium (FCU:TSX) is now No4 on the GCL chart. I've been quietly researching and accruing FCU for several months. The summer drilling programme has just started at Patterson Lake South which is already highly prospective ("This one's a monster"). Volume and share price building up in Canada. However as we are still on a nice discount here, GCL offers another way of adding to my stake. We don't have an ADVFN thread for FCU, and I'm a complete techno-numpty. Anyone here like to start one? | shavian
12/7/2016 21:30 | Several key holdings quoted in Canada and New York up between 2 and 4% tonight. Relatively modest, but in keeping with a good day for GCL. | dogberry202000
11/7/2016 10:10 | I knew someone else was buying :) | dogberry202000
11/7/2016 08:51 | Dont blame you, I have been. | my retirement fund
11/7/2016 07:21 | I may start to crank up the dusty buy button . | gardenarc
08/7/2016 09:13 | Patience and timing are crucial for this sector. The bottom appears to be past but it is a definite buy time should it come close again. | tonsil
07/7/2016 19:58 | Still on a 25% discount to NAV.Totally nuts given the outlook for demand long into the future for carbon neutral energy. | my retirement fund
04/7/2016 12:53 | Dollar denomination of uranium making this look extremely attractive longer term imo | my retirement fund
20/6/2016 08:04 | Hmm, there seems to be one , may be you dont believe in it. It exists, i just looked it up. | escapetohome
19/6/2016 23:46 | escapetohome, there is no such law as the "law of averages". | papillon
17/6/2016 16:57 | Well you could go back to post 316 in 2010 (pre Fuki) and you'll find similularities. GCL had subs then and predictactions were all for another U boom. The Chinese and other Asian countries will drive the future cycles, but they were also very proactive in buying future producing mines and companies during the downturn. All fun and games. hxxp://www.world-nuc | energiser01
17/6/2016 15:23 | Is it indeed 5 years they have been saying this for ? i have looked at the chart and this started crashing 5 years ago , so they would hardly start saying its time to invest 5 years ago. Perhaps they started saying its time to invest 2 years ago? Is the commodity cycle 7 years duration? So based on the law of averages we could expect an upturn within 2 years! | escapetohome |
