08/12/2020 02:45 | The HL link in the heaer shows NAV & premium/discount going back 10 years. until c. 2017 it was consistently at a discount, but since then has been at a premium... a very marked change in sentiment. | steve73
07/12/2020 18:56 | This has been waiting for someone or something to fire the starting pistol. | tonsil
07/12/2020 18:00 | I thought of buying - but decided not to chase - too many gaps all around -to be closed | kaos3
07/12/2020 16:19 | There we go. NAV at Friday close was 19.06p, so the shares were actually at a discount at open this morning. Nice price action in the equities today too | bmcb5
07/12/2020 15:47 | This trades at a NAV premium because you can't get exposure to U miners outside of KAP and BKY in the Uk. You can pick a multitude of gold stocks up hence the large discount in GPM. | andyforster1
07/12/2020 15:30 | Hey JAF. I tend to prefer GCL in terms of potential upside. My GCL holding is 4* YCA for that reason. But I like both, and am happy to watch patiently. Been building my position here for 3 years | bmcb5
07/12/2020 14:06 | completely agree bmcb5.....imo YCA much better value than GCL | jaf111
07/12/2020 12:54 | If you want a uranium stock at a discount to NAV, check out YCA. | bmcb5
07/12/2020 12:53 | I would think that when today's NAV is published, the premium won't be so great | bmcb5
07/12/2020 12:52 | The large premium has built up over the past few trading days. Early last week it was roughly equal to NAV iirc. Generally, it trades within a few % of NAV. I did find the move here last week a bit odd, and was expecting it to reset. But then the moves in Canada Friday, and Australia overnight, now make me think somebody knew it was coming. Regardless, it is nice to see some movement, and I'd love to see follow through this week | bmcb5
07/12/2020 12:30 | Well done guys for catching this move but this is trading at quite a premium to NAV. Its gold counterpart GPm has always traded at a hefty discount to NAV ( 20% ). Has this always traded at such a large premium? | c0lin1
07/12/2020 09:44 | Maybe I was wrong and the exercise of 491k shares at 28.55p on 02.12.20 was the wise one we live and learn. | wskill
07/12/2020 08:13 | Funny, it did open "static"! Added a few more to help fund the Christmas holidays. | dogberry202000
06/12/2020 20:32 | If this is static at the open tomorrow - it looks a good buy. I don't think it will be though... | didierdrogba
05/12/2020 16:18 | I looked for such an article and didn't find. So thank you for posting. | tonsil
05/12/2020 08:54 | That's a really good write up covering all of the angles. | dogberry202000
04/12/2020 22:22 | On the whisky tonight, feeling very content! | 1solon
04/12/2020 19:26 | Whoever bought these today and especially that 130k plus buy this afternoon did very well. Whoever sold today made a heck of a mistake! Many uranium equities are breaking out in North America from inverse head and shoulders chart patterns. It's an impressive break out tonight. | dogberry202000
02/12/2020 14:37 | probably dogberry who has called the sub shares 100% wrong. anyone who followed his advice has lost 100% of their capital | quepassa
02/12/2020 14:13 | So 490k subs exercised at 28.55p yes that seems better than buying in the market at 18p . | wskill
28/10/2020 05:35 | yawn yawn yawn. GCS prices:- 2018 (when dogberry was buying heavily) 6.5p today 0.15p Anyone who followed dogberry in 2018 has lost more than 97.5% of their capital. The remaining 2.5% or 0.15p will melt away in the next few weeks as the sub shares expire worthless. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
26/10/2020 14:24 | Barring any miracles, seems a 99.99% dead certainty that the GCS subscription shares will expire worthless next month. But I still believe that there is good upside to U3O8 - and hopefully GCL will issue a new raft of sub shares in the ntdf. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa |
