Ladyboy malcolm.Gcm is down again.20 years and nothing delivered and still many years away from anything. People didn't invest to see the price drop by over 95% , see increasing debts, non-delivery of the coal mine, and of course no income, and no dividends. You give your rose-tinted nonsense to those who invested upto 20 years ago who thought they were investing in a coal mine.

Champion of the world

What happened to Desire Petroleum shares?
Shares in Desire Petroleum have slumped almost 50% after the explorer said a key drilling prospect off the Falkland Islands contained mostly water, not oil. Only last week the company had said that it was optimistic that the well contained hydrocarbons

Why all this talk of unloading? It seems to me that the trades have been triggered by someone offering to buy as much as they can up to 97p.I'm hoping that someone knows something and isn't just someone who likes the risk reward ratio like me. Some will be happy with this price in this market and good luck to them, I'm holding long term as I'm sure others are unless of course Bangladesh decides it doesn't want a reliable long term energy supply.

Losing depends n what price you get in at, Trp hasn't even got started yet, when the drill begins in Cameroon I might remind you of your negative mindset. Never mind the possibility of a farm out in the hottest African postcode - Namibia off shore. However this bb should be restricted to GCM chat so let's stick to the recent dramatic 200% rise in coal prices causing politicians to dust down previously discarded energy projects.

1) there is no project

2) sheikh hasina and her government never showed an interest for phulbari

3) there is no financing

4) there is no project since 20 years

5) no valid licence

If there will be a project submitted after Hasina nandate it will take years and years

Indonesian coal has risen from $89 per ton to $275 in the last 12 months. It would make sense to use your own coal when prices are over $200 per ton. At some point the poloti ians will notice this threefold rise and consider alternatives. Local coal rather than imported coal also has the benefit of a smaller CO2 footprint.
