FEWDOLLARSMORE...trading with Dukascopy (Swiss market maker) mainly GBPCHF due to high volatility.
When started years back Dukascopy allowed min account size of $50k, but it is now reduced to only $1k. 1:100 leverage. No cheating, requotes etc..., the same prices for everyone. HSBC, Barclays, ... all trade through them. Highly recommended. You make money or lose only you are responsible. That is what I like about them and hope they stay that way.

Dude

They will find it hard to even get 1 million squids.

IMO the upside may be 100-200% if you call this enormous? There's £ 180 million to find (apparently) re liabilities from any bidder before adding x amount for shareholders.

Go trade FOREX, the right instrument for high frequency trading. Gaps, surprises, manipulation are all very rare and difficult to administer on major pairs. I'm averaging 2%-5% per month with very low leverage (1%) and low drawdown. Giving me income £2k-£5k per month. FOREX market is the real money market with $4 trillion per day, giving you (in practice) unlimited liquidity. Governments, banks, international corporations, tourists,... all of them are the forex market. Speculators and traders are minority hence much grater predictability. All I wanted to say is that stock market is a high risk vehicle for trading, with unpredictable 3rd party risks.

Well that was not as bad as expected today, from here the down side is a fall of 2p to 0 but the upside on the right news could be enormous. Still holding as a gamble now.

Closed my short. Not much profit, but it's just too dangerous to hold overnight, I think. Even if you get the direction right there's still the potential of being stopped out with a 25% spread first thing.

Will see in the next 2 days if US investors sold out. If not, we'll get something back as GMG has a lot of assets. US guys won't let the company being stripped of its assets for nothing. Domain names alone are worth a lot of money.

yes - a deal will be forthcoming, just no money for shareholders IMO. Game near as dam stated this a while ago now.

====================

What a waste of time comment and completely misunderstands GMG. If an offer is forthcoming then there WILL be value for shareholders. If GMG is forced into administration the chance of value is a LOT less.

Yes, I agree. Are you suggesting that you can infer nothing from the "buys" and "sells"?

Yes jimr, but the buy is also a sell for someone else.

Ron D Voo - I understand it to mean that more people have instigated a buy than a sell. Might be wrong but looks like more trades have gone through closer to a buy price than a sell price.

It's a case of traders trying to take chunks out of each other.
