Very quiet here but Glenover news due imminently.

Thanks to Analytical on lse forum for the reminder:”As previously announced the Company has a 29% direct and 4.99% indirect investment in Glenover held via Galagen Proprietary Limited who are Glenover's BEE partner and is potentially due a further ZAR102M (approx. £5.33M) being its portion of the share sale proceeds due under the Glenover Share Sale Agreement (the "Sale Shares Consideration") which is conditional on Afrimat by 15 June 2022 or, if an extension has been granted by 10 November 2022 exercising their option to acquire the Glenover Shares.” Hopefully it’s an option exercise rather than an extension as Afrimat have an Investor day today.

I said a while back that we were entering a news rich period here, and so it continues as CB starts to spend some of the cash which has been rolling into the coffers. Having stepped down from the board of JLP it is good to see him getting stuck into Shingada with the prospect of developing an open pit operation. Am expecting the six month uptrend to continue on the back of this provided the wider market is in a good mood this week.

A very moribund phase this stock appears to be in.Flashes of PI interest spike it to the 1.2p area, followed by boredom which causes a drift to sub 1p.Even the bulletin boards struggle to get an average of one post a day.

Jesse Livermore

“It is no trick at all to be right on the market,” he adds. “I’ve known many [traders] who were right at exactly the right time, and began buying or selling stocks when prices were at the very level that should show the greatest profit. And their experience invariably matched mine; that is, they made no real money out of it. [Traders] who can both be right and sit tight are uncommon. I found it one of the hardest things to learn. But it is only after a stock operator has firmly grasped this that he can make the big money.”

Colin has amazing drive and energy for a man of his age, emulating another industry veteran Algy Cluff in the number of successful ventures he has under his belt. When I had my one to one chat with him over 3 years ago (when I was already a shareholder of JLP but not GLR) and I asked him which of his companies had the most upside potential, the answer was not JLP but GLR. Since that time JLP has multi bagged, so all I can say is that GLR has a hell of a lot of catching up to do!

During the time which has elapsed since then he has ‘matured’; two prospects in the shape of Glenover and Star Zinc and there is no reason to doubt that he will do the same with the copper, gold and lithium prospects, having already made an excellent start in the Kalahari with the Sandfire deal, and now with Luansobe. The upside from here is potentially massive, and the value disconnect will surely be rectified as the news continues to flow imho.

I’ve just listened to the interview and CB’s enthusiasm about this project is just electric! He’s such an inspirational guy. Do any of you guys have a feeling for what the mcap should actually be? I’m thinking upwards of £50M. No idea how to value the recent news but it’s looking good to me. GLA
