Nice to see the shorters showing such ‘concern’ for us investors.CB must be getting ready for retirement in a year or two imo and will deliver a lot of value for himself and his investors by the time he goes imo. This article is prophetic for the coming copper boom and GLR is very well placed in Botswana and elsewhere to benefit from First Quantum’s woes in Central and South America:

He talks a good game with the Sunday Roast sycophants but what he says and what he does are a country mile apart.

With CB being at the Indaba next week there are going to be plenty of other companies wanting to talk to him, particularly the neighbours in the KCB. Another RNS tomorrow or Monday to finish dressing the shop window cannot be discounted imo.

CB will be at the Indaba next week. Hopefully he will want to get some news out on a few of his companies prior to it, but he will no doubt also be talking turkey with some of the bigger fish. Plenty to talk about with his prized assets in GLR imo.

Colin Bird Chairman and CEO said: "Hole SHDD017 is a particularly impressive hole with an intercept length of more than 250m which was heavily brecciated and accompanied by copper mineralisation throughout its' length, with values to be determined by assay. The nature of the host environment is not typical for traditional Copperbelt mineralisation which leads us to believe that this could be a totally different style of mineralisation.


There is good district evidence for IOCG-type mineralisation and we are targeting drilling with this model in mind. The next hole will be sited 100m away to test for mineral style repetition and continuity.


We will advise shareholders when we receive assays, together with an update on the outcome of the upcoming borehole."
