Why if a co is still a going concern is there no accounts for 30th Sept 02- this was a time when the co alleged to have cash.

Why are Directors being paid 150k to spend time in Sun abroad.

The tank is in position and cheshire will not know what has hit it et al davidson and Warburton if this goes bust.

A few months ago when we were posting about
the FTSE being low, I think it was about
3300-3400. I said I thought it would be 5000
by the end of the year. At the time it was posted
that I was mad to think it would be so high. Now
it has got to the 4000 milestone, any thoughts?

This company is a disgrace. I hope it is the end of Norman Lamont's corporate days. Paul Davidson is finished - the spread bet on Cyprotex was his downfall and rightly so.

Just got my copy of Growth Company Investor and I see that under Aim Hopefuls, Sense-Sonic is still there with a closing date of 25 June 03. Perhaps it would be a good idea to telephone Gilbert Elliott, 020-7369-0300 and ask what is going on.

I agree we should ignore all facts which spoil my arguments. However I have to take issue with your comments that I should learn more about the financial world. Given all the facts I cant believe even a monkey could come to any other conclusion than that GAI is in the brown stuff (and in a big way).

And I will certainly miss these slanging matches with you in the future. They've been great fun.

You are really shallow, HP, the announcement on 17/4 showed how the situation was to be resolved. It's not difficult to work it out. But then you don't know the difference between 'going concern discussions' and 'pending clarification of the company's financial position'. You really need to learn a little more about the financial world before you rant about 'bust', 'crooks' and 'having a laugh'. The directors may have been naive in their announcements to the point of censure, but you are showing that you are not knowledgeable enough to judge these matters. I suppose you think all suspensions mean the relevant company is bust, and the fact that GAI is not in administration or receivership doesn't seem to worry you. Let's just ignore facts which spoil our arguments, shall we?

Just awful. Looks like yet another deadline by GAI has been missed.

'The Directors regret they are unable to announce the Company's results for the
financial period ended 30 September 2002 because they are reviewing the position
of the Company as to its ability to continue as a going concern. The Directors
hope to resolve the position before 30 April 2003.'

Im sure these guys are having a laugh.

Keeping to form they haven,t told us anything and if a "resolution" is found by 30/04/03 do we have any chance of being told what it is?
If by any miracle there is any cash/share value left after this debacle who in there right mind would trust these directors?
They have treated us with contempt and this will be mirrored to the detriment of the company if there is still any stock value by shareholders walking or I should say running/fleeing!
Mrk & sreddy you have put in a lot of hard work and effort into a lot of good posts but I do not expect to get information from a fellow BB poster regarding the official position of the company.

It comes down to what will be will be and I would not like to be accused of stating anything which could make matters worse.Peoples jobs are at stake apart from anything else.
Time will tell, and those are my last words on the matter
