It will come for sure Pat, we just need to have a bit of patience as we came in at the bottom so to speak and any good news will take us too the next level before the traders can get in and create the volatility we don't need!

feels like we are stuck in this 30-40p range for quite a while yet....only some good news over leases or some good trading over crucial sept/oct period will cause a breakout from 40p...heres hoping!!!

I would like to see a small profit, but would prefer to be a bit more cautious at this early stage as there is no need to get too carried away with high expectations!!

This is a good solid long term hold imo.

trojan...are you going for small profit at half year? I heard bubb from pali is cautious and says trading been tough? only his opinion and he is a bear of retailers(22p gfrm I think)

I think I made a comment about the old MFI units on here some time back, but they will not be appropriate I would have thought for stand alone Howdens imo.

LOL Pat, at times you really are hard work!!!!

If was not going to rise for 6 months I would sell out make a mint elsewhere and then re-buy 3 times as many for the same money!!!!

Over 6 months I would expect to see the share price hit 47/48p with the bigger moves coming in towards the end of H1 2010, but we shall see as it is all guess work for now, although we already know that this share can go over 100p! ;)

so ure not expecting the price to rise over next 6 months?...why dont they build a depot on sites where they own the mfi leases?

On a more serious note, I'm not expecting any fireworks at all and I would like to think that they are starting to see a small pick up in sales as the worst of it is now behind them.

Not sure about opening new depots yet as it may be a bit too soon, but if they can get cheap commercial property now and save money in the long term then it makes sense.

It will still be 2010 before we start seeing some big changes on the number front and it this share price I still believe it is a good entry point for a min 3 bagger in 12/18 months!!

Yes, but they may well be concentrating on the high street as well as out of town!

I would not be surprised to see one or two retailers sniffing around at the leases very soon, as there is no doubt that things have turned already, but just at a very low pace imo.

Sorry Pat, lot's going on!! :(

I have to be honest and say that I don't expect it to have much impact on the share price at the moment, we have seen a bit of drifting in the price over the last few day's after what looked like a run to 40p which has also not helped!!

Away for the weekend now, Regimental Reunion and birthday all thrown in to one, so will have a big headache come Monday morning!!! ;)
