Max..

Sorry it had everything to do with the interims, first half of the year is not the best time for GFRM and the numbers were not great but what they did show was a solid foundation for the stock to recover on and that is why people have bought in to it imo!!

I have mentioned 60p a number of times, but going back down to 23/25 is just plain scare mongering imo as I don't see it going below 40p unless something on a global scale affects the whole market!!

Well, even I have to hold my hands up and say that I got this wrong by top slicing!! :(

After everything this stock has been through since the fall from a £1 plus, I did not expect to see this sort of reaction to what really was an ordinary and expected set of interims!!

Well done to everyone that has held on, it should push to 60p, but there will be a retrace at some point as the rise has been so great imo.

Bit harsh Overmars!! ;)

Thought it would kick on today and with the markets being good as well I am a bit surprised. Mind you if it consolidates before moving up again then that won't be a bad thing, but I will be keeping an eye out for any retrace should there be one!!

It was worth the wait and to be honest I will probably regret top slicing as it should kick on to 60p+ in quick time, but I have missed out on so many bigger rises on other stocks because of being tied up here and at BVC that it felt the right thing to do for me.

I have had a good run on UNIQ as well from a very low level and that could also double in 3 months, but we shall see!

Back to being evenly balanced for a while!! ;)

venkata..

I would agree, but I was a bit top heavy here and after getting in with a big wedge in the low teens it is nice to take some profit.
I think they will still climb, but not as fast as others will over the next 3-4 months or so, I am happy to let the rest run and will look to buy more again towards the end of the year!!

Having a good run on UNIQ from 9.74p and that one has a lot further to go and I may well go top heavy there in the short term as it could easily double from 30p in very quick fashion! ;)

I'm in for the long haul... have always ended up getting bitten on the backside taxwise when I faff about trading... and anyway, Buffet reckons he has always made more money by doing zilch and letting the winners run... so I shall leave any pruning to the weeds (which I'm thankfully devoid of at the mo...)

nice day at the races though... bring on the pullback (as the actress said to the bish) so we can get the big next leg up (as the actress said... sorry... I'll get my coat)

After careful consideration I have taken the step to top slice!!!

I may have got it wrong as they are a good long term hold, but after the rise today it seemed stupid not to take some profit and make some potential gains elsewhere before coming back here!!

I will let the rest run for now, but this side of xmas I am hoping to be back with some more cash before the finals in 2010 when we should see some bigger gains being made imo!!
DYOR!!

pat..

Given your holding it is the right thing to do as we may just get a retrace at some point and I have been thinking about a 15% sale myself to make a trading pot as the rise has been better than expected!!

Not sure yet and will think on it over my cuppa!! ;)

You wouldn't believe we were 18% up to day with the thread being so bloody quiet!!!!

I take it you two have day jobs!! lol ;)

It's about time we attracted some new holders and the rise today should open a few peoples eyes up imo.

There will be some profit taking soon methinks as is the norm after being down so low!!

2nd half of the year should be better for them, but we need the banks to start lending properley instead of building up thier cash reserves...AGAIN, as this will help the company more than anything else!!
